I got this to go along with my iPhone (wireless charging was one of the things I was looking forward to when upgrading). It works great -- the stand form factor helps ensure the phone is in the right position to charge quickly, and it also makes it easy to use Face ID with the phone while it's charging. I bought this soundbar for a TV in a high-ceilinged, mostly open room. It produces reasonably rich and clear sound (certainly much better than the TV), including pretty good surround. It's volume leveling and voice enhancement modes are quite good. Half the reason I bought it, though, was to use as a room-filling Sonos speaker, and it's great for that. Overall, I'd say this is a good soundbar if you're embedded in the Sonos ecosystem. If not, you could get something with similarly sound quality for less.

Huge upgrade from a top loader

A bit expensive, but a great keyboard

I've been using Apple's bluetooth keyboards for several years, and I really like them. I find the flat, low-travel keys very comfortable to type on (and I spend most of my days typing). This keyboard isn't groundbreaking, but it's definitely an improvement over the previous one. The keys are more stable and even lower-travel, the base is a bit more stable, and the built-in lithium battery lasts longer than the NiMH AAs I use in the older keyboards. If you like your current keyboard, there's not much of a reason to upgrade. If you're getting a new keyboard for a Mac, though, this one is great.

This bulb is easy to get working with an existing Hue setup -- just screw it into a socket, turn it on, and check the Hue app. The bulb has a decent range of brightness, and it goes smoothly from dim to bright. I'd like to see it get a bit dimmer, and be warmer when dimmed, but overall it's a great bulb. Note that you need a Hue Hub or a Hue Dimmer to use this bulb.

what is the difference between the h6 and the h8 sets?
Check out the "Words for Nerds" sections at https://www.hisense-usa.com/electronics/tv/50h8c and https://www.hisense-usa.com/electronics/tv/50h6c. Basically, the H8C is a slightly higher end model than the H6C. The main extras the H8C seems to have are:
- local dimming
- an ethernet port
- Dolby Digital support
- Hisense "Himedia" and "AirBridge" support (sounds like Google Cast)
