Never had any issues with this affecting the device. Always cleaned them really well. I was surprised at how well it actually cleaned off heavy soiled areas on my kids devices. Left them looking brand new. I recommended spraying the clothe with a liberal amount and then wipe in circular motions repeatedly until clean. Sometimes it takes 10-15 wiping motions but you can eventually get all the dirt dust and grime off and it leaves a fresh no fingerprint and streakless look.
