Old school bond at a good price.

Her majesty's secret service has always been a favorite bond movie for me. Lots of action, a good story, and fun to watch for an old movie that was priced right. If you don't spend to much you will be happy with the purchase, it has a little bit of everything in it. I spent $6.00 on it with steel book case at Best Buy. The old school car scenes and fight sequences are kind of funny to watch compared to what we are use to today but hats off for the movie making at the time, it's very good for what they had to work with.

I was not a big fan when Daniel Craig got the gig, but with the more realistic reboot of the franchise and the more in depth look at bond's history with a little mystery built in it was a great way to take the franchise in my opinion. Spectre really is just scratching the surface and I don't know if they will go any deeper but the movie for me is my favorite bond. There is good action some humor mixed in with a good baddy to take down. I like the way they tied bond and specter together in the story. It may not be a 5 star movie for everyone but it is a 5 star Bond movie.

Better than average mindless entertainment

You know how sometimes you don't want to think you just want to be entertained. Well this is one of those titles to me. You sit back and wait for the baddies to be destroyed. The trailer I saw for the blu Ray release looked much more interesting to me than the one I saw for the theatre release,, so I picked it up and am happy about my purchase. The story is a little week but the special effects are good and the acting is ok. I have watched it a couple times and will probably watch it again, for me that is the best gauge as to whether I wasted my money or not. If you watch it once and throw it in the pile of never watching that again you made a bad choice.

Based on a true story movies can be hit or miss. This movie for its story is very good. It tells how an average joe kinda guy, nobody special finds himself in the middle of a prisoner exchange deal between Russia and the USA that takes place in Germany before the wall fell. You cannot make this stuff up. Did I love it? No, will I watch it again? Yes, the acting was very good and it's one of those movies you start watching and then all the sudden it's over. The true test was my wife, she made it all the way through it on a week night after 10pm, so there has to be something to the movie that makes it great I just can't put my finger on it.

This movie is not as funny as I thought it would be and my 9 year old agreed with me. I am not sure he will ask to watch it again. It had a couple funny moments but the first despicable me is still the favorite in this house. And just because it was not for us does not mean you shouldn't give it a try.

It is a good show for when your board or nothing else is going on... It does not interest me enough to binge watch the season in a couple of days but I always get to it in the winter months when you end up trapped in the house...if you live where it's warm sunny and their is beach near by...good for you and I am not sure why you would waist your time watching this when you could actually be at the beach or on the ocean....happy holidays to all...

Flash was a much better story than I expected, which was a nice surprise and not as violent as Arrow.. The special effects are done pretty well for a CW series and the villains they chose to pull from DC universe are cool and done well. If you are a DC fan it is a great show and if you are just looking for good entertainment it will fill the bill for anybody..
