Be careful not to lose the tiny piece that goes into the USB port. ( there is a storage slot to keep it in the keyboard itself if you are not going to use it for a while ). Just plug it in, and it works ! Nothing to it.

The laptop seems to be working fine. I am using it to display the screen on a large TV. I have an HDMI cable, and I had to get an HDMI to miniHDMI connector, and this laptop has a mini HDMI port. The camera works fine with Skype. The laptop connects to my wifi in the house, and that is working fine also.

I wanted a set of speakers so that I could hear the sounds made by windows/programs etc. Prior to this I was using built in speakers in my monitor. The problem with them was you had to use software to change the volume. I wanted an old fashioned knob I could turn.

Does this work well with gaming?
The screen is fairly small, and probably not the best size for gaming. You could attach a larger monitor however. The computer is fast enough for running many games, but it is not an ultimate gaming solution.

thanks for your efforts. what is the difference between display port output and HDMI output. in copmparison between the two laptops in your site I found HP have display port output but dell dont.
