Good buy when it's on sale

Pros: it looks good, the led backlight is nice, it is fairly quiet and so far it has served its purpose well.
Cons: the first one showed up with the glass door shattered, the second one took awhile to figure out the controls (hold the lock button down for 3-5 seconds and then the other buttons will start to work, not in the manual), it's not a brand I think of as quality but when it's 40% off its a good deal for the casual user.

These are outstanding for music and talking on the phone. I have tries several different brands and these win out every time. Music quality is very good and unlike most in ear buds, they don't "seal" inside your ear so you can still hear yourself talk normally on the phone. If you are looking for noise cancelling these are not what you want, but for good music quality, comfortable fit that stays out, and ability to talk in the phone without sounding like you're in a tunnel, it doesn't get much better.

Are they very good at canceling background noise?
The headphones I currently use are great for listening to music, but if someone call me while I'm using them I end up having to disconnect them and just hold the phone up to my face because people complain that it's too noisy and they can't hear me.
Mine do very well using the phone function. No complaints about background noise.
