Picked up the pro version as it was slimmer and uses 802.11ac wifi, after installing this I was not able to get it working so I called tech support. After spending about 2 hours on the phone and doing firmware updates we were only able to get it working using the slower wifi connection which made the video quality buffer and had about a 19 second delay

Purchased the 12.9 version due to the larger size for editing photo's and the the ability to use the pencil for drawing. There is no program that comes with the IPad to work with the pencil so had limited use.

Depends on what lens you current have, also your style of photography. I was a Sony person but switched to canon and never looked back but I have never used a mirror less camera so I could not tell you which is better. Best to do more research and look at the pros & Cons for both cameras
