Weeding through the You tube info is a time consuming trial and error process for this 74 year old. My 20 year old daughter almost got it running with our big smart screen tv. I wanted this for another hdtv that is not a smart screen. I have been told I will be able to play my videos through the cromecast with more formats available

This is the matching sound bar for the Samsung 60" Smart TV. I has a nice wireless Woofer and it's own wireless remote. I have to use the remote that came with it to control the sound. You cannot use Comcast remote to adjust the volume. I guess you can use the television sound without the sound bar but I have not tried to do that yet.

Will this work well in a USB 2.0 port? I would think it would need power with a USB 2.0 port.
Yes it is simple to use and for a second copy of my photos and videos it has been a life saver. You do need to plug it in to an outlet.
