Good TV for price. Was not impressed when compared to my old 1080 Sony or or new Samsung, HOWEVER, it is not priced as high as those TVs were/are.
Be sure you know there is no tuner.
Installed TV on wall and started the setup which required a software update. It stopped somewhere in the process of self set up and I was not able to get it to continue after all the normal reboots set factory settings ect.
Called Vizio and they were very nice but after following all their instructions we were not able to get the brand new out of the box TV to work. I HAD TO download the update onto a flash drive and complete a whole software install.
I called several numbers at Best Buy and was told to return it! That process would take two hours and they would have an open box TV. Would have thought it would have been good for customer relations and their bottom line to attempt to correct the issue.
VERY unhappy that a brand new TV could not be used until I spend about 3 hours with all the phone calls, transfers and referrals to other numbers.

Could I use this to monitor temp at my cabin from my home to keep a eye in indoor temps and gmaybe alert if it gets cold if my heat fails so I’d know to run up there? If so what would I need ? I have WiFi there Thanks
Yes! I have a system in my home and one in a hangar which is out of the SmartThings hub range so it is a separate system with hub in the hangar as well. You go to the more icon on the SmartThings ap and pick "Cabin." Then select the motion sensor and it will give you battery status and temp. Just checked temp in my hangar.
