Keyboard syncs to the iPad flawlessly each time. No issues with it staying connected to the iPad. The only gripe I have is that its hard to see the keyboard letters at night but then again its not illuminated. I got this keyboard for 29.99 and I wouldn't pay more for a keyboard like this. Good keyboard for those that are on a budget and don't wanna go to a Zagg keys.

God deck, bad service from BB

When I bought this unit, I got it thinking that it was gonna be an awesome deal. Well, to my surprise, I got a USED unit with missing parts. No remote control and missing wiring harness. I immediately called BB and they where apologetic and could not explain as to how a used unit was sent to me. They refunded me $20 for my troubles. After buying a harness from my local stereo shop, I installed it and was super easy. Everything works as it should except that my iPhone 6 doesnt seem to want to sync the contacts. I can still make and receive calls and control my music but cannot select any contact info via stereo, which I dont mind, because that is one tiny LCD to have go thru and display my info.
All in all stereo works but eware of compatibility issues with newer iPhones. Box does say that its compatible up to the 4s I believe. So buyer beware.

When you close the case, does the I Pad automatically turn off? Also, does it come in the color black?
Yes it does, puts the iPad to sleep.

Does this item come in other colors?

Yes, comes in other colors. I had the Mars Orange but it was more red than anything else.
