Sharp minds do make sharp products!

My guess it Sharp makes the Roku Insignia televisions. I loved that Insignia, but when it came time to get another they had discontinued the 1080p version, so I picked up this Sharp for a very good price. Everything about it was familiar. Th Sharp 32LB481U has a crisp image, bright screen, minimal cloudiness, and the built in Roku makes using the set easy.
Pros:
- Dual band wireless -YES! Real 5Ghz and 2.4 Ghz capability! Every manufacturer needs to do this.
- Roku makes navigation easy. Simple remote control that works.
- 3 HDMI inputs -2 bottom facing in the back, and one on the left side
- Very bright screen if set to vivid.
- Sound quality is actually decent considering. LCD's are not known for amazing sound.
- Input lag is minimal
Cons
- Very lightweight which might not instill confidence in some
- No controls on the television. You Need the remote to really use the TV. I personally don't like this trend.
- No image enhancements (no 120hz motion smoothing but you never see this on lower end sets)
- A little slow to boot up. This likely due to having a budget processor, again not surprising for the price.
- Why does the Roku remote have volume buttons on the side? That annoys me because there is space at the bottom of the remote.
I loved my Insignia which really was a rebranded Sharp. Obviously I recommend this Sharp as the price is fantastic and picture quality is well good enough to use as a computer monitor, gaming console monitor, or for watching television/Netflix/Amazon Prime. Buy with confidence.

Can't beat the price

Based on previous reviews I purchased these glasses. I also have a Sony 75" 850C and these glasses work great with this television. I am able to wear these over my glasses (thankfully), and they do not squeeze my head too hard. All I had to do to get these glasses to link up with the television was to press and hold the button for a few seconds. I know some people have had trouble/irritation with getting Bluetooth to link up. I highly recommend these 3D glasses based on price and functionality. They are a tad delicate so I am not sure how long they would last with small children.

Good and bad at the same time

This review is based on a newly setup system with only office 2k10 and chrome installed. If you want / need / desire a touch screen computer this will do the job. The design and styling is very nice. The built in speakers have superb sound and get very loud. The screen is clear and bright right to the edges. That's the good part.
The bad parts . This all in one is not the fastest computer out there by a long shot. The computer takes a while to fully boot up (and I don't mean to the login screen, I mean after login it takes a couple moments to load everything), and using Cortana, or opening up applications like Chrome or Edge can be annoyingly slow. I expected much better performance from a Gen 6 Intel processor and 8 GB of ram. The wireless keyboard and mouse that comes with the unit is utterly useless. Only 4 inches away keystrokes are not recognized, or keystrokes repeat -it made typing anything super irritating. In the end I installed a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse and have had no trouble since. I am shocked HP would include such bad peripherals with a $1k computer.
If you have your heart set on an all in one system then this would do the job, but you would be far better served with a separate workstation and monitor. A $400-$500 workstation would way out perform this unit.

Why most computers now don't built with it DVD/CD drive?

It is a sign of the times. Optical media is fading out quickly -being replaced by digital downloads and downloadable software installers.

3.0 USB Hub

Where is the 3.0 USB hub located (and why isn't it blue? :-) Thanks!
Facing the back of the unit, the USB ports on the left hand side say "SS USB" -these are the USB 3.0 ports and I don't know why they aren't color coded either.
