Sonos Sub Wireless Subwoofer: Complete your movie theater experience by adding this force-cancelling Sonos subwoofer's strong bass into your surround-sound setup. Place it on the floor horizontally or vertically—or even under your couch.
There are many ways to review this product. First, the Sonos system is amazing in itself. They have nailed the software and the networking. You literally plug this thing in, hit a button on it while in the app and it automatically connects. Then it runs test tones and calibrates itself. Then you can add it to any of your other Sonos speakers. I have it paired with a pair of DefTech bookshelf speakers for some awesome full range audio in my living room.
Purely evaluating the sub's sound quality, it's excellent. This is a $699 subwoofer with a ton of technology built into it. So you can't put it next to a monster dumb sub that costs a lot more and expect it to hit that hard. But this is as much sub as most people would want or need for music or home theater. It is tight and musical. The 2 drivers are offset to cancel each other out so there is ZERO vibration from this cabinet. It can also lie flat if needed for aesthetics. I have it under a bench in my living room and no one even sees it.
The intelligent, easy-to-use AirPort Extreme Base Station with simultaneous dual-band support is the perfect wireless access point for home, school or office. It offers next-generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology and delivers high-performance wireless access for Mac computers, PCs and Wi-Fi devices such as iPhone®, iPad®, iPod® touch and Apple TV.
I've gone through so many routers in my life (D-link, Linksys, Netgear, etc...) and they've all made me want to throw them at a wall. The Apple Extreme is the easiest to set up and manage of anything I've ever used. And the range and speed is top notch. I have 1GB fiber optic service at my house and I can pull 550MB wireless with my iMac in the next room which is as good as it can get for wifi. I would never let anyone I know buy any other router. Period.

These bookshelf speakers have a nice warm neutral tone. The finish and build quality is excellent. I'm using these with a Sonos Connect Amp in my living room and the SM-45s fit nicely on a built-in bookshelf. They just disappear sonically and the room is filled with clear sound. I have to say, every time I've compared Definitive Technology speakers to the more expensive B&W's, I always prefer the DefTechs. The B&W always sound cold/dry/harsh compared to the warm full sound of the DefTechs. These speakers pack a fair amount of bass for their size also. I only notice the Sonos sub making a difference on serious bottom end material.
