Excellent product, but Apple has some QC issues.

To start, I will say that I had to return my first keyboard and exchange for another to get a good one. The first one had a small manufacturing defect where when using on a flat surface, the bottom of the keyboard (part nearest you) would pop up about 1/4” making it so you have to hold the keyboard down with one hand. After a quick search it sounds like quite a few people got keyboards like this and simply exchanged for a good one, which is exactly what I did. Best Buy was happy to give me a replacement.
All of that being said, now that I have one that lays flat as designed, it is amazing. Very thin when folded up, it can fold into all of the positions as the regular smart cover, and also has a keyboard with a nice feel. Keys are properly spaced to prevent typing errors.
There are no shortcut keys, however Apple has built in a ton of shortcuts using the command key combined with other keys.
Also note, this does NOT have protection for the back of the iPad. The keyboard cover and smart cover are designed to only cover the front of the device. If you want rear coverage you can use the Apple silicone case in conjunction with the Smart Cover or Smart Keyboard Cover.
Overall, this is a great product and you get what you pay for. Good quality, good feel, lightweight. The super thin profile is one of the big pluses to me. If you don’t care about extra heft, the logi keyboard case is pretty solid. All around protection and a nice backlit keyboard. It is unfortunate that Apples manufacturing process on this keyboard isn’t perfect, but even though it may take two tries to get a good one, when you get it its just perfect.

With a kid-safe design that maintains a low volume, these KIDdesigns Minions 92298920184 over-the-ear headphones are a great way for your little one to listen to music. The adjustable headband helps ensure a comfortable, secure fit.

What else do you need from minion headphones? haha.
Not the greatest sound quality, but good enough for a 5 year old kiddo to watch youtube with. They also have a little switch on top to control the overall volume. It’s called the “parental control volume switch”. Basically High/Medium/Low. High would be normal headphone volume, then medium and low scale down the max volume to prevent your kid from overdoing the volume and causing hearing damage. On low, my boy can max out the volume on the ipad and it puts it to a comfortable listening level.

This would be a 4-5 star item if not for one fatal flaw. I have owned the white version for a day and a half and it is already turning yellow on the edges. It looks as if I left it laying outside in the sunlight for 6 months. For a $100 product to discolor and look so putrid in a matter of hours is beyond absurd. I will be returning and trying the black. The products functionality is fantastic. The feel in the hand is great, the battery seems to last a long time, and the lightning connector is a major plus.

Seriously. If you have used the new MacBook pro with the force touch pad, that's what this is but twice the size. I have put my Magic Mouse 2 on the shelf and gone solely to using this trackpad. Extremely responsive and a joy to use.
