I bought this to replace my old Phillips ShoqBox that finally died. The batter life is good. The sound quality on a scale of 1-10 is a 7. The bass boost works well, sometimes too well. I often find myself turning it off. Turn the lights off. They are an annoyance and just drain the battery.
