As a wireless charger it works perfectly. But I ended up returning it for the flat/non-standing version because the phone would often slide off the base ledge if you weren't careful enough when placing it. Even a slight bump to your nightstand would shift the phone enough to stop wireless charging.
The flat charger has worked much better for me.
I also wish the base had a pass-through USB port on the front. Would be helpful to charge and use at the same time, without having to take up a separate plug outlet.

I bought this to help steady new footage I was capturing for some car shows and it turned out fantastic. There are other similar gimbals out there that work similar but the benefit of this unit is that it controls the GoPro out of the box. That makes starting and stopping recording so much more convenient. Tilt angle and follow features can all be controlled from the grip itself too. I was able to get multiple hours of life out of it by making sure to power down between recording, which was a nice surprise.
There's always areas for improvement but the built-n compatibility controls and price point make it hard to beat.

Picked up the Mate 9 in February when my Nexus 6P finally gave out on me.
Amazing phone - arguably the best I've owned to date. Camera is great, processor handles any and everything I can throw at it without so much of a hiccup, and the battery is insane. 39% is the lowest I've gotten it to in any single day of ownership - even with moderate and constant all day use. If you utilize the "Ultra Battery" setting overnight, you can easily get 2 days of normal use out of it. I'm even impressed with the single, down-firing speaker - that thing gets loud. (Maybe not the best sound for audiophiles, but volume certainly isn't an issue).
I can't recommend this phone enough to anyone looking for a phablet sized handset. Oh and speaking of that, after the first couple days it just feels right in the hand. I rarely feel like anything is out of reach.

Not a whole lot to say here other than the more flexible form factor is a big improvement over the first generation. The interface gets a little bit more of an updated look. As with most things Google, configuration and operation are a breeze - not sure how much easier they can possible make it.
I still wish they would provide a secondary shorter Micro USB cable to power the device with. I used a spare extra Micro USB I had laying around to plug into my TV's 5V USB port. This powers the Chromecast and eliminates the need to run a dedicated AC cord down the wall.

I was originally hesitant about going with a curved display, but after getting it, I'm so happy I did. The form factor of the TV is a great bonus. I have this unit mounted on a full motion Sanus mount and the back of the TV is just as great looking as the front.
I will say, with a caveat, that the first unit I bought developed a small row of dead pixels and some on screen menu glitches after about 3-4 weeks. I exchanged it out for a new one and waited another month before posting this review. I'm happy to say that the second unit works perfectly.
The Samsung OneConnect box is pretty convenient to minimize the amount of cabling running to the unit. It can, however, provide some tricky set-up decisions if you're trying to hook it up with an A/V receiver. Since the TV itself has a plethora of built in media apps (Hulu, Amazon Video, Youtube, Netflix, HBO GO, etc) and the codecs to play several different video formats off an external hard drive directly, you may have to sacrifice using your AV system for certain inputs and rely on the TV speakers only. Of course, depending on your receiver and AV set-up, you could always add a Chromecast to your receiver to add app functionality and use surround speakers. The good news, is that the TV speakers are pretty decent overall and are more than good enough for casual use.
The picture quality and color rendering is great, although I do think the motion engine could be better. There's some significant motion judder in background artifacts in action scenes. Sony's XBR engines blow this unit away, unfortunately. I'd even venture to say that personally, I think LG's TruMotion may even work better than Samsung's. But if you can put that aside, there's really not a whole lot about this TV that's not to love.
The remote might also be one of my favorite pieces. Sleek, minimalist, feels great, and can control a plethora of extra peripherals perfectly.
I feel like the OS is also one of the strong points on this unit. The onscreen menus and seamless integration between other inputs, video apps, and your cable provider channels is fantastic.
