you get what you pay for ... most of the time

I think we bought this for about $50 on sale. Really, we should've purchased more of a work horse ... but this is for my wife's classroom and they don't exactly have a bunch of money thrown at them for this sort of thing. In fact, I don't believe she'll be reimbursed for printer, ink, or paper. LOL
She wanted this initially for the easy ink deal since she used a lot of ink. She likes that it does double sided printings well. However, either we didn't look good enough, or the sales person had no idea what the heck he was trying to sell us ... but this is a MANUAL DOUBLE SIDED PRINTER. Meaning you'll need to flip the page and manually feed it back into the printer. Not a big deal if it's only a single copy. However, if you're trying to print 30 copies per class and want it double sided to save money on paper, you're waste just as much time.
It's also a fairly slow printer. It takes forever to print once the job is sent via WiFi. I tried sending a job via her work computer as well as both of our phones. Both scenarios seemed like it took forever.
It doesn't have an ethernet port so setting up the easy ink was hard as well. For some reason we couldn't set it up on the school's guest network. I had to bring it back home, hardwire in, set it up, and bring it back to my wife's classroom.
In the end we returned this and she took my printer from home. If you're looking to print a few pages a week and don't need a heavy duty printer this is just fine for the price. We did attempt to print a photo. I wasn't impressed. It could've been the quality of the gloss paper, but it was still horrible compared to the HP that we already had at home with the same glossy paper

worth it ... on sale

I jumped on a $199 sale as I couldn't bring myself to pay $400 for something I'd play maybe once a week. I was a little bummed because it was supposed to come with the 6spd shifter as well for $199. No matter, at half off it's not a big deal to not get the $60 shifter.
It's mostly plastic, but it's nice and solid. I didn't build a race rig yet, so I had to place the pedals on the carpet. There's a flip bar just underneath the pedals and helps it stay in the carpet real well. If it's going to be mounted on a flat surface, just flip it back in.
Steering seems fine for the time being. The "leather" on the wheel feels nice as well. There's a tiny spot on the wheel where my thumb seems to rub a little awkwardly, but I usually use my racing gloves so I don't feel it.
Buttons are solid. I still have no idea what to do with the spinning red wheel on the right, but that's no big deal. It just looks cool HAHA
Wheel is a bit noisy as expected from a belt driven system. My wife knows when I'm approaching the S turn from the other room. Bunch of vibration and turning of the wheel can be heard. This will all eventually be downstairs in the game room, so that won' matter much either.
If you won't have a race rig or playseat, you'll definitely want a sturdy table to mount this on. It's currently mounted on an 1"x45"x45" thick solid wood table. The mounts work fine, but on heavy turns I find myself lifting the table at times. A proper playseat or race rig should solve that problem. I assume a wide desk would work as well. I'd just use caution if your desk is made of pressed wood. I've seen pictures where the wheel just yanks right off leaving what looks like a huge bite mark on the edge of the desk.
The wheel is definitely worth the $200 I paid for it. The wheel goes on sale at least once a year. If the regular price of $400 is to much, just wait it out.

... it's more about the person who suggested it. Went in, picked the stove. Bad boy kicks out 57k BTU. The sales person was like "hey, how about this one?" and I'm like "sure!" NOPE luckily I did more research and figured out this little guy isn't nearly strong enough to keep up with our stove. boo
I wouldn't recommend this to a friend mainly because my friends have big gas stoves. This would not be good enough for any of them. If you're not my friend and have a small stove, then yeah ... maybe I'd recommend this to you. However, I was asked if I'd recommend this to a friend. The answer is no.

Well, the install dude hooked it up from my gas line to the stove. Turned the stove on and all the burners worked. I'd say that's a keeper.

First, lets talk about the outside. This thing looks like a serious piece of machinery ... at least compared to our old gas stove that came with our house. We got the stainless version. It's not entirely all that stainless. It does smudge fairly easily like everyone mentions. Not a big deal though. It does clean off with some microfibers. It's just that the smudges are a lot more noticeable than our old white stove. I know. DUH
Now let's get in to the meat and potatoes of the stove. Double door seemed like a great idea. I felt if I was cooking a single dish, opening only the top door would be a lot safer / easier if you have a little one running around the house. Well, here's the problem. There are a total of 3 tray positions for the top. The bottom on sits below the top door hinge, so forget being able to slide the tray out to check on your dish. The top tray is just a bit to close to the heat ... let alone leave enough space for say a tray with some chicken or any thicker piece of meat on it. The middle tray was what I used. You can slide it out, till just about where the inward groove of the top door is exposed that is. So basically, you can slide the tray out just about 3 inches. Also, please not it isn't entirely easy to even get your hands with mitts in far enough to pull the tray out. Now, you're saying, why don't I just open the whole darn door? Well, because then what's the point of having a duo flex or two door oven? Even on the middle position, the heat was a big harsh. I used the same temp I used on my last stove and this time it mades things juuuuust a little tooooo crispy for my liking. It could've been the conviction as I'm new to that, but I still feel the middle position is to close to the heat.
Now, let's talk about the app. If you ever read the feedback on the app store for iOS, all 27 (and counting) have rated it a 1 star for more or less the same reason. Yep, it constantly loses connection with the server and takes longer than I'd like to reestablish said connection. You can send temp and time instructions to the over ... but then you immediately need to walk over to the oven to accept your instructions that you just sent over. So, what the heck do I need this app for? A timer? Nope. My phone already have a nice enough timer. If anything, I can set multiple timers on my phone without having to worry about the oven turning itself off. I don't know about you, but I like to baste my chicken ... and I don't necessarily do a great job watching the time. Hence the need for multiple timers. So where does this bring me? The regret of buying the more expensive oven. Both features of due flex and wifi were basically the only differences of a version that is less than half the cost of this oven. Yet, both features are seriously flawed.
Some good things ...
- I did notice the difference of convection. Muuuuch juicer pieces of meat.
- it reached the desired temp in about 2 minutes faster than my 10 year old stove
- multiple size stove tops are neat ... but if you're a simmer in the front type of guy/girl forget about it or if you're a boil a big pot of water then you'd probably want to stick to the front
- it makes neat sounds and has cool lights. The time is a big ol bright blue color that will light up your kitchen at night. There's no need for a night light in the kitchen.
- this thing is pretty darn efficient as far as BTU is concerned. Again, I'm not sure if it's the whole convection deal going on, but I cooked my chicken in about 20 minutes less than I usually do and it came out juicier. The great lemon "sauce" I made burned, but it was hard to not acknowledge the juicy chicken under the probably to crispy skin.
Would I recommend this particular model? Nope, Save yourself $1000 and just get the single version of this stove. I fell for the "ohhh, new technology (to me) and I have to have the big boy version" itch. Will I like this down the line? Maybe ... but right now I feel like I wasted quite a bit of money on features that don't really work. It's like buying a big fridge that has a built in TV / screen but you're never in the kitchen long enough for it to matter.
