Great Small Laptop with Fair Tablet Experience

I had a Yoga 13 previously which was lighter and bit faster. i switched because I need a better bigger keyboard, and a larger lower resolution screen (the Yoga's higher than 1080p screen caused issues with many legacy programs). So far I am pleased with the laptop. In tablet mode it is a bot heavy but for occasionally use it works well.

Great Ultrabook with some drawbacks

I had a 1st gen Yoga and when they announced the Ypga 2 I knew I would upgrade. I went from 4/128gb to the 8/256gb model as the original was cramped for space. The back-lit keyboard was another must have item.
I am not yet sure of the 3200 X 1800 screen is necessary, and in some programs the icons are way to small.
The sd card slot no longer allows flush insertions (which negates my using my 128gb card used with my older Yoga.

It seems that Best Buy is no longer carrying the 8gb model that I have. I'm bummed because apparently after I bought this, Lenovo put out an updated version of the yoga 2 that had the improved "yellows" and the "fixed" wifi issues.
I looove this convertible but, I don't want this inferior model and am hoping that Best Buy gets in the newer model soon because I only have 2 weeks left to get a refund. It just doesn't seem fair to have to keep this "defective" model
If I explain this situation to management what is the possibility that they would extend the dates in which I can exchange or refund the product?

I do not know for sure, but the original Yoga was upgradeable from 4 to 8 gigs of ram. Also, yellow and wifi issue were software fixes not new hardware.
