The installer who came out to my home was great! He was courteous, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after himself. My issue is with the 3rd party company (non-Best-Buy) who Best Buys subcontracts with.
1. They over scheduled their installer, so my install got delayed by a week. This sucked because I had already arranged time off work and school to be there for the installs of 3 appliances. Their scheduling issues should not be the customer's problem. 2. When it was rescheduled, I was given a 12 hour window––11 am to 11 pm. Who installs appliances at 11 pm at night??? After MUCH complaining, the window was narrowed down to a much more reasonable window of 8 am to 12 noon. However, at 2 pm when the dishwasher and range had not arrived, I started making calls again. I was assured that the installer would be at my home by 4 p.m. He actually arrived at 6:30 and was gone sometime after 8 pm, keeping in line with their 12 hour install window,,,

If you have a tight space, do not get this unit. You will not be happy with the freezer side. The refrigerator side was OK with no major complaints, but the freezer side is ridiculously miniscule. Could not even store a week's worth of freezer items for a two person family who rarely eats at home due to work and school schedules. Ice in the door worked good, water in the door dribbled out and was tepid at best. If you have a small space, you are better off going with a traditional refrigerator or a french door unit.
This range cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing range.

For the price that I paid, ($280), it is not a bad little unit. I was only in the market for a refrigerator, but it was going to cost me $300 to "upgrade" to a white refrigerator to match my other appliances. Long story short, I used that $300 to get a dishwasher and added a range just so everything would match. Very pleased with its performance and appreciate the ease of cleaning out the strainer basket.

I've never owned a flat top electric range before, my personal preference is gas. I have really come to appreciate the ease of clean up and how quickly the burners reach full temperature. The stainless steel finish easily cleans with SS cleaner.
I do have two negative comments. The first is that on the second use, the lightbulb in the oven blew. Not happy that I have to replace the bulb on a week old $$$ oven.
Secondly, not necessarily against the product, but just a comment on newer Whirlpool appliances. My last stove was a 20+ year old Hotpoint. I never really liked it, but it was a tank and got the job done. I purchased a new refrigerator, range, and dishwasher (all Whirlpool) and can definitely tell the difference in quality with the newer generation of appliances. Each time I open the pan storage drawer underneath the over, the metal bows and twists, very thin and cheap. This did not happen with my builder grade Hotpoint. The back of the refrigerator is constructed with CARDBOARD! in my humble opinion when you pay $2400 for appliance you do not expect thin metal and cardboard,
