So Light and Cheap

This is my first tripod and it's so light! I thought I'd have to buy something expensive to reduce my carry but that's only true for the length not the weight. Wouldn't recommend this if you're working with heavy equipment but it worked great with my XT-1 for a night shoot even pressing the shutter button without a remote.

I have sensitive skin so something that can be disinfected is necessary. I really enjoy using this to shave my arms and legs, though it does take a while. I prefer this to safety razors, because the comfort I get right after the shave is a bit softer on my skin where safety razors get closer but cause more irritation. Shaving more often with less irritation vs less with more bumps... choice is yours, but maybe look at actual body razors for speed.

I thought long and hard about buying this, especially with the looming XT-2. With the sale, it was too hard to resist. Yes, it's an expensive and incredible camera and yes, I am a total beginner but this camera has an amazing build quality that inspires. While the knobs are intimidating to most, I could never use other cameras because sifting through menus was so difficult and traditional DSLRs don't have EVF -- thus, I would constantly be confused at what I was looking at. This camera will force you to learn the fundamentals, but with everything at your fingertips it will make it fun to experiment and SEE what all the settings do as you work with them. All I can say is I'm having a blast and don't even care that I have a "lesser quality" camera than the XT-2, though I don't think I could've said the same if I would have bought the X-T10.

I bought this for protection and haven't really noticed it. It does sometimes come loose, but I'm very mobile with my camera and move it in and out of a bag excessively. Definitely worth the protection, no problems with night shots or slower shutter speeds (which is apparently added when you put these on -- not 100% sure about that though)

This is my first proper lens for the XT-1 and I couldn't be happier. I moved to Fuji from Nikon because I just could not understand the system. Being new to photography, I was so stressed about buying a new lens but with the sale I couldn't resist the splurge. I took it on a night walk and the quality and the colors are PRIME. This is going to be a great all around lens and totally worth the investment.
