Excellent sound and design

For wireless earbuds, these sound better than any headphones I've tried. The industrial design is amazing. Connection with my Huawei Mate 9 (Android) is seamless. My only problem is that they do not sit well in the ear. I ended up having to purchase silicone covers, which I have to remove and reattach every time I use the Airpods.

Hardware is great; software needs work

The build quality is great and considering the size and cost, the sound is acceptable. The Alexa software, however, still needs a lot of work. Voice prompts are often not recognized, or have to be said in such an unnatural way that one has to memorize phrases instead of speaking in a natural or common-sense way. For example if I ask Alexa to play recently added music, it will not work, but if I say play new music, then I will hear my recently added music. Another problem is that the software will recognize normal conversation, other words and phrases not including the Alexa prompt, as an unsolicited request. I can't have the device near a TV, as it is also incidentally activated, which is annoying. Another annoying example, if I have a notification, wouldn't you think saying "delete my notifications" would do just that? Nope. I have to ask it to play the notification and sit through the message or ask it to stop playing. There's a lot of instances like this that occur all the time.

I love the instructions, which show an illustration of the CD writer being plugged into the laptop. And that's pretty much the extent of the installation. The packaging includes the USB cable, and the cable also powers the unit. Instantly worked with Windows Media Player and iTunes. Also, it was surprisingly small and lightweight. So far, so good.

I haven't had any issues, except for confirming my email so that I could toggle the remote access and therefore remote control the unit via my phone and with my Echo Dot/Alexa devices. The glitch eventually corrected itself after about 30 minutes. I have my sunroom party lights plugged into the mini link. I like that it doesn't block the bottom of the outlet and that I can also have a timer and schedule set if I want.

A respectable rig for the price

The overall sound is rich and loud enough for my small room. The soundbar complements my curved 55' TV and the sound is a considerable improvement over the built-in speakers on the television itself. The aesthetic of the housing and the grille are both, in my opinion, stylish, and the behind-the-grille display is a nice effect. This system could not have been easier to setup, wirelessly, with my TV. So far, so good.

Noisier than expected

Based on online reviews, my wife decided she wanted this cooler for Christmas. We both love the aesthetic of the device and the convenience of the 2 separated compartments. I, however, thought the unit was possibly defective because not only was it much louder than I had expected, but the fan seemed to be ramping up and down constantly. I could hear it from another room about 30 feet away while trying to read, and it was distracting. By comparison, our standard-size food fridge in the kitchen is closer to where I read and I hardly notice the sound.
I returned the unit because I thought it was defective, replaced it with the same model, and set it up. During the first week, the fridge seemed to be quieter, and it didn't have that revving up and down sound. Now, it seems to be doing the same thing as the previous unit. I guess we'll have to decide whether we can live with the sound. Since we had purchased this cooler when it was on sale, it was a pretty good deal.
