With a large 27" display and Quad HD definition, this AOC Q2778VQE monitor allows you to enjoy movies, games and Web content in crisp detail. HDMI, DVI-D, DisplayPort and VGA inputs offer versatile connectivity options.
I purchased this monitor to go with my new HP Spectre x360 laptop. The display port connection is excellent and I have no complaints about the totally immersive effect of the 1440p images on this AOC Q2778VQE monitor. The monitor is basic with an unimpressive base and a wider than optimal shiny black plastic bezel around the screen. There are no integral speakers with this monitor, but I think an external speaker system is preferable to the best on board speakers found in monitors. The picture quality right out of the box is quite good. I dialed down the brightness some and made other minor tweaks to the settings. As far as my eye can discern, this is a perfect result. This monitor features a TN screen not IPS. Even so, the lateral image and color quality are both excellent out along the horizontal axis to 150 degrees. Going off center along the vertical axis at +/- 20-25 degrees does introduce some deterioration of image quality. That doesn't matter to me because I sit right in front of the thing anyway! As a value proposition this monitor cannot be beat. I purchased it from Best Buy for $259.
