Is there a setting that turns off/on the motion sensor function?
You can setup rules for this in the app or use IFTTT and add the channel for Belkin. However, the motion sensor is super sensitive. It bombarded my mailbox with snapshots within a minute. However, I was impressed that the motion notification that included the image capture with it.
