I admit that I hadn't considered hp for a long time, not since 1995 when I last used one of their desktops. These new laptops got good reviews and the laptop has lived up to them. The speed is amazing with the SSD and 16GB of memory. It favors USB-C but there are adapters that will allow connecting regular USB-A devices. The USB-C even allows charging and video output.

I use the phone a lot to play music while driving and this allows that as well as keeping it charged for longer drives. Sometimes if hold the phone while using it the sound will crackle and once it activated the voice control. However, if the phone is just sitting on a desk on the console in the car it works perfectly.

The screen protector unobtrusively covers the screen. Previously I’ve had screen protectors that were part of a case and plastic. This is much better and it wipes clean with an included microfiber cloth. The edges of the cover are close to the edge of the screen so there’s some refraction I’d viewing the screen from an angle but it’s not noticeable with normal use.

Why is this $100 MORE than the price Apple charges for this phone?
I’m speculating a little: The Best Buy retail price is for the phone without a carrier. With a carrier at Best Buy the price is $100 less for AT&T. When I go through the apple site they are also selling the phone with a carrier. So at least for AT&T the prices are within a few cents between apple and Best Buy.
