A Sleek Monitor That Looks Great in the Office

The HP 23f Display monitor is a sleek, beautiful display. I love the small bezel (the area surrounding the screen), as it makes the 23-inch screen feel bigger, and less imposing on my office style.
It features Freesync, which is great for gaming, as it ensures the lowest lag possible for better gameplay. I occasionally bring my Xbox to work with me, and it is great to play on this display.
It also includes both HDMI and VGA inputs, so it is even a good option for older computers.

Amazing Outdoor Sound System!

The Sonos & Sonance Outdoor streaming system is just amazing. We have a pool in our backyard, and are often entertaining guests, or just hanging out in the backyard as a family. Needless to say, this often includes music. Previously, we just used a bluetooth portable speaker for music, which worked fine, but required that one of our phones be the dedicated “music” phone.
Now, with this setup, we have uninterrupted music (no more notification sounds!). Not only that, the speakers are amazing, providing full bodied sound. The sound quality is amazing, probably better than the premium system in my car.
While this is quite an expensive system, especially compared to a simple bluetooth speaker setup, it is well worth it if you can afford the price.

A Great Gaming Laptop

The Dell G7 is a great laptop, suitable for just about anything, but really shines with gaming.
Since it has a solid-state drive, it has incredibly snappy startup times, and programs load quickly. The hard drive is 256GB, but if you need more storage space, you can always expand it with an SD card.
My favorite feature is having a backlit keyboard. I didn't really understand why anyone would want or need this feature, but now that I have it, I LOVE it. It makes working in dark rooms easy and convenient.
Gaming is also totally doable on this system, thanks to its Nvidia GeForce 1060 graphics card. The large air vents and dual fan system helps the laptop stay cool while playing graphically demanding games, but it can get a bit loud, although this is to be expected with any current generation gaming laptop.
The Waves MaxxAudio sound system is superb. I was very impressed with the clear sound that actually had some "umph" behind it.

The Sengled Element Classic Smart LED bulbs are awesome. I love having control over my lights using just my voice, though I can also use the app to control the lights.
I also love that you can set a schedule for the lights. This is an especially good feature if you are going to be out of town, as you can give the appearance of being home.
If you have been considering getting some smart bulbs, these are quick and easy to setup and enjoy, even for the most novice of home automation users.

The TP-Link Kasa Cam is an easy to set up home camera solution. It can be used to monitor much of your household, from babies and puppies to the front door or gardens.
It allows you to view a live feed from your home, business, or anywhere else. It will give you alerts when motion is detected. I work in a workshop in my backyard, so I primarily use this to monitor my front door. Since it has two-way audio, I just keep the storm door locked, but UPS delivery people and the like can hear me and I can hear them. I'm able to have them wait while I run to the front door, preventing me from missing any more packages.

A Disappointment

The biggest value for Google Clips, I imagine, would be actually catching some special moments, such as a baby's first steps or similar accomplishments. Assuming it is capturing what you want, the battery is still working, and you have it positioned well to actually get the shot, you might get some real gems.
To those points, I found that the battery life was less than three hours. Considering how quickly the camera app in my cell phoen will launch, I'm not missing many moments I want to capture anyway, but with Google Clips, it is very likeyl that you will miss a moment due to the battery being fully discharged.
I also found it hard to position the camera if I wanted anything other than a straight-on shot.
Finally, Google Clips doesn't record any audio. This, along with the battery life, are the biggest detractors from the value of this device. If there is an amazing life moment that I want to capture, why wouldn't I want the audio? I can always delete it later.
Overall, I was very disappointed in this product. It is an interesting idea, but between the performance I saw, as well as privacy concerns, I can't recommend this product. If you need something constantly recording, look into security cameras.

Great Bass in a Small PAckage

The Sony Sport earbuds are amazing. I thought I would just use them for working out, but they have been great for work calls as well. They do a great job with noise-cancelling, allowing them to be used for important calls in just about any environment.
The only down side to them is the battery life. I really need my headphones/earbuds to last eight hours, so if you need full usage during a full work day, these probably aren't for you.
If, on the other-hand, you are looking for great call quality, great music, and amazing bass for the size, these are the earbuds for you.

Amazing Call Quality!

The Jabra Elite 45e is an amazing set of earbuds. I was initially excited about using them for working out, but they are so comfortable, and the sound quality is so good on calls, I started using them for work.
I primarily work on the phone or using Skype or MS Teams to make calls. These paired eaily with my computer, and they have enough juice to make it through an entire days worth of calls.
Several of the people on calls I have been making have asked if we upgraded our phone system or something, as the call quality is excellent.
Working out, the Elite 45e earbuds perform excellent, staying in place in my ears, and the wire isn't a nuisance like it is with some similar earbuds. Overall, I love these earbuds, and they will remain a valuable part of my office.

A Stylish, Powerful Laptop, Good for Anyone

The Asus ROG GU501GM is an amazing laptop, both for gaming, and for school work. It is the ideal computer for a college student who is also a gamer. As a former college student, and a current gamer, I can stongly attest to this.
The Asus ROG has tons of power, from the 8th generation Core i7 processor to the 16 GB of RAM, along with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, I can play the latest games, AND mine cryptocurrency. Everything I've thrown at this machine runs great. On the huge 15.6" screen, games look amazing.
Additionally, it features two hard drives: a Solid-State drive (SSD) for the operating system, and a 1TB drive for data. This setup ensure that the bootup process, as well as starting apps and games, is super fast. Setup and use has been snappy and easy.
However, one of my favorite features, something I can't live without now, is the back-lit keyboard. I did not know how great that would be, especially when I need to write a quick email at night, and don't want to wake up my wife, I can easily type with the back-light.

An Awesome Gaming Rig!

The Alienware R7 Aurora is an amazing gaming PC. It handles everything from the newest games to VR with ease. I love this system, and don't plan on needing a new one for quite some time. Especially since the system is expandable to ensure it is future-proof for quite some time.
Coming with 16 GB of RAM (upgradeable to 64 GB), an 8th-gen 6-core i7 proecessor, an NVidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card, and a 2 TB hard drive, you can see that this is certainly a robust system. Now add in that it is liquid cooled, and you will see this syetm is perfect for your gaming needs.
I was surprised to see that this system didn't come with an SSD (Solid State Drive), but come to find out, the Optane Memory allows standard hard drives to behave like SSDs, giving an incredibly fast bootup (under 20 seconds). This also leads to incredibly snappy program startups and navigation.
Another interesting feature is the external lighting on this computer: you can change it up. You can set the light colors on each side of the computer, as well as the power button. You make make them all the same color, have them all be different colors, or have the color change based on system events, like an email notification.
Finally, this system is loaded with USB ports. is has 7 SuperSpeed USB 3.1 ports, and 6 standard USB 2.0 ports, ensuring you'll have plenty of ports, both for fast and slow data-transfer needs.
