It was very easy to understand the instructions. It was very easy to install the wall bracket and the tv bracket. Once they are put together, things get to be a little more difficult. My HDMI is in the middle of the tv (36" so a smaller tv) and to try and connect anything while it is mounted tends to be a tight squeeze
