So far, so good!

I've only been using the portable air conditioner for about a month but it has been wonderful. It provides a "softer" cool temperature than the window unit I previously used. I do have to set the temperature about two degrees below where I want it but it is no problem. I have not needed to drain any water at all, even during the few days of 90* heat Vermont was experiencing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Is this model self evaporating?

my questing is concerning the water, does it evaporate or is this model strictly drain only?
I have not needed to drain the unit in the month I've been running it. Vermont is not super humid but it has been worse than usual this summer. So far the unit has been great!
