Purchased this 4 port USB3 hub for my Surface Pro 4. I have been using it for about 1 month and it has been working great. The small form factor is great and it does come with an external power adapter for power hungry devices. I have been running a USB monitor, an audio interface, a midi keyboard, and an iLok 2 on it with zero issues. I only wish I would have bought a 7 port instead so I could add an external HD and a mouse. Overall a great purchase and it serves its purpose.

First windows computer I have purchased in about 10 years. I'm a big fan of companies who build both, their hardware and software. This why I had been hanging out in the 'Apple Camp'. However, with the introduction of the Surface, Microsoft has taken this competitive advantage away from Apple. As far as the Surface Pro 4, what can I say? Well, it works, I am able to do everything I could do with my MacBook Pro and some more. For example, I can run FL Studio on it and some other music production software with full utilization of the touch screen and pen technology. This change in interface has sparked a new and fun way to create music, coupled with the i5 and 8GB was enough to keep things running smooth even when running a number of virtual instruments. The only Con I can think of is the availability of just one USB on the Surface, something that can be alleviated with the use of a powered USB hub. Anyways, happy with the purchase.
