Clear Dialogue, Affordable and Compact

The entire Pioneer speaker line-up is such an incredible bargain and this center channel speaker is no exception. I had a decent, mid-priced, soundbar before upgrading to the Pioneer system and right away I noticed how much easier it is to understand dialogue with the SP-C22. The difference is night and day. With the Pioneer speakers, I can keep the volume at a more comfortable level and still understand every word. I would often have to ride the remote before, turning up the volume when an actor is speaking, and turning down the volume when the onscreen action gets going. Not anymore. This speaker is very well-designed and sounds like something you would expect to pay much more for. If you have the room for a proper 5.1 setup, skip the soundbar and start with a Pioneer "Andrew Jones" system.

I'm using these as surround speakers as part of a larger 5.1 home theater system and they sound great. I'm truly blown away with the sound from the entire Pioneer "Andrew Jones" collection. It sounds much better than it should for the price and you would have to spend upwards of $2000 on a Bowers and Wilkins soundbar to get close to the sound quality of even a budget 5.1 system. The Sonos soundbar, sub, and wireless surround system is not even close to sounding as good as the Pioneer "Andrew Jones" system. If you have the space for these speakers, it's an obvious improvement over any soundbar I've heard so far.

This sub will surprise you

I wasn't expecting much from such a small and inexpensive subwoofer but I've been blown away. I was planning on purchasing this as a temporary solution until I could budget in an SVS or similar subwoofer but after listening to this sub for a couple of months, I've decided that it will stay! I live in a moderately sized townhouse and this little sub fills the room with clean and deep output. It matches perfectly with the rest of my Pioneer speakers and receiver. I love listening to both movies and music with this sub. I have it mounted about 12-14" from the corner of my room and I've yet to reach anywhere near the limit of what this sub can do (I don't want to disturb my neighbors so I'm talking a moderate listening level here). Will this sub shake your grandma's porcelain QVC dolls off the shelf? Probably not but it will fill your room with good clean bass.

This will be a very short review because these speakers are simply amazing for the price. I work in a major broadcast facility and listen to calibrated Genelec studio monitors all day. When I get home, I'm blown away with the sound coming from these affordable Pioneer speakers. A real pleasure to listen to. Sounds Great and Loaded With Features

The Pioneer is one of the few receivers in this price range with built in wifi and bluetooth. Being able to easily stream music to my large living room speakers is fantastic. I've listened to many different soundbars and wireless speaker systems but nothing comes close to the sound of even a basic home theater receiver and a good set of speakers. For the price of a basic Sonos system, you can enjoy much better sound - and I mean way, way better sound - with this receiver. I tried going the soundbar route but even with a very favorably reviewed soundbar, I was disappointed. This receiver is compact, affordable, and packed with features.

After looking at several less expensive tablets, the Samsung was head and shoulders above the rest in terms of price to performance. The screen is bright, sharp, and the colors are brilliant. The software is fast and easy to navigate. There are tons of accessories available including rugged cases which were a must in my situation - the selection of cases for the lesser known brands is limited. I do own an iPad Air, iPad Air 2 and an iPad Mini 3, and can say that this tablet compares favorably with anything in the iOS or Android world.
