Best way to go! Less phone downtime

I purchased 5 Cricket Wireless BYOD kits and moved/ported my whole family over. Since all five phones were in different locations (cities/states) at the time I had to get the sim kits to each person in advance. I also took pictures of each sim kit (iccid number) and also had everyone text me there IMEI number (dial *#06#) . I tried to go through the Cricket wireless website to activate but it was easier for me to just call Cricket at 855.619.6021. It took about 20 minutes to provide all the above information for each line plus my account info/pin code. I asked the Cricket rep if I could hold off activation until the last day of my current bill cycle and they said "no problem just call back when your ready". When I called back to officially activate it only took about 5 minutes max. I also gave my family plenty of warning about when they would need to power down and replace the current sim with the new Cricket Wireless sim. I know that moving to a new service can be a pain but with a little planning, communication and this kit it was really simple!
NOTE: Make sure all of your phones are paid-off and unlocked before you start this process; just check with your current provider.
