Screwing in on the bottom allows the camera to hang strate down and to one side and out of the way. Similar to a side hosted. You can not sit your camera flush with the surface since it screw in from the bottom which is one disandatage. You will have to unscrew it to use a tripod. All in all, its a good fit

The one thing I do enjoy is the play back when you miss what they are saying. With the new TV app it will be for like a TV guide, but with the episode you come to enjoy. I was always a problem when you wanted to fine a program. But with SIRI you can bring in up much faster. Improvements still needed to use it as my main device

With the one inch CMOS I expected a much larger difference in the quality of the image. I compared the SX 700HS and the iphone 6 with the DX one and found that the image was only slightly better.. Saving took much longer then expected when saving to RAW. The system would automatically find and focus on faces, but it would also find objects instead of faces. Getting ready to take a picture was cumbersome. The 1.8f stop allows you to take great pictures at night without a flash is the best feature of the DX one.
Raw format is also a great feature that allows for a much better image with more detail then a JPEG format. Allowing you to adjust your image with either speed, f stop or ASA brings you closer to a DSLR camera. This is a limited comparison since I did not compare various outdoor activity or use the super raw format or use each function as I was going on a long vacation and had to return the camera.
I like the idea and wish it had given be a much better image.

It would be nice if it could turn on the iPhone automatically when connecting the device. Faster saving mode so I do not have to hold the camera in place while it saves. 1.2f stop would be fantastic.

This product was on sale for a reasonable price. Looking around I could not fine a comparable price for the same product. It works much better with the amount of ram with several large program open. The graphic card did failing a few time when I was doing a lot of graphic work, but restored it self in seconds.
