When the price dropped to 40 for the Dot I decided to buy. I've used it standalone. I haven't hooked it with my speakers yet, nor my lights. I like that it can play my music, and set alarms all by voice command.. it still needs improvement compared to Google or even Siri .The 3rd party apps called "skills" should make it a better product. One skill I like is called "Ask My Buddy", where it will call , text, and/or email up to to 5 people telling them you need help. Cheaper than the "Help, I'm Falling" devices. Other skills still need improvement.

didn't want to hassle with adjusting an answering mechanism, since I was going to use my triple play from Verizon to handle voice mail etc. I have turned off the answering portion of the phone. Everything is working as expected, and the black/red combo adds some style. All in all, I'm pleased that I bought it.

I've had this printer about a month. It was easy to remove it from the box, as it was in a plastic bag with handles. Very nice. It was very easy to install on my network. I printed a Word document from my Windows 10 PC. It was fine. I printed a PDF document from my Ipad Air 2. It too went smoothly with decent print output. I printed a document after it was in Sleep mode. It "woke up" quickly, and printed. .

Great 4K TV, and the remote

The picture is sharp. The upscaling to 4K significantly improved the image when I tested an SD box input.,I wanted to see if what they advertised about taking any input and upscaling it to 4K was true. It was, though I'd still get an HD cable box, unless you consider IoGear as an alternative input method to save a 2nd cable box.I'd get a Roku stick for cord cutting. Vizio interface is so/so, but they do have special buttons for Netflix, Amazon, and Iheart radio. I love the full keyboard on the back of the remote. Great for searching vs pointing/clicking an onscreen keyboard.
