There are so many things I love about my new printer! 1. I love how simplistic it is! It's lightweight and not bulky at all. No separate tray for paper loading that can malfunction. So simple to use! 2. Super easy to install and print. I didn't have to press any buttons or fool with any wires. I just entered my purchase information on the website, it connected via my "device sharing" and my wi-fi directly from my computer to the printer. 3. I LOVE the HP Instant Ink program! It's totally genius!! I am a college student, a wife and a mother of 3 school-aged children. It seems we are all the time running out of ink and always at the worst times! The times that we can't afford ink, of course! This program will ensure that we are never subject that issue again! 4. Print quality is awesome! My son made some copies of a color picture that he had drawn at school with markers and I honestly could not tell the difference between the original and the copies! That is amazing!
I had done a little bit of research before getting this printer just to make sure it wasn't a total dud, however, my biggest priority was the ink program. I did not realize that I was getting such a great printer, too! And this model is also the cheapest of the ENVY line and/or models that are Instant Ink compatible. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Keep ample ink on hand with this HP Instant Ink f6u27an monthly plan. When you sign up, your printer orders ink for your compatible HP Envy, Officejet or Officejet Pro printer, so you will get ink delivered to your door before you run out.

I am thrilled to finally have this wonderful program! I have just been waiting for months for my printer to run out of ink so I could justify getting an HP ENVY printer enabling me to enroll in this Instant Ink program. I am psyched. Upon registering and enrolling in the program, I was notified that I would receive my first set of ink cartridges in about 10 days and that I would not be charged for my first month until I installed one of those cartridges. So, since I am currently using what came with the printer, I should be good for a bit before my program even starts. In addition to that, I am getting the first 3 months of the HP Instant Ink program FREE! Only Best Buy seems to have this offer! HP is offering a different program to others and with it you only get your 2nd month for free. I prefer Best Buy anyway!

I usually just buy whatever paper that's on sale and usually at Walmart. Since I was buying a printer at Best Buy and this paper was on sale for $3.50 (as opposed to $2.64 at Walmart for another brand), I decided the extra $0.86 was worth it to avoid Walmart. It turned out that I actually like this paper much better! Although the specs on the package are the same, the paper seems much thicker and durable. It also claims to be 99.99% jam free! With my prior printer and paper, I got jams all the time.

Great Headset for the Money (PC, Xbox One, PS4)

I needed a headset for my son to use mainly on Xbox One for gaming purposes, but we have been through all of the Xbox One branded headset options and didn't have the money to buy the more expensive headsets (that may or may not have even worked in the end based on our experience). I researched endlessly online at home on the computer and extensively from my phone while in-store to find out all the specs I could to help me decide whether this product may or may not work for our purpose. In the end I still wasn't sure if it would, but it was my best effort and I just hoped that it would work out. We already had the Xbox One adapter due to our previous efforts, which made using this headset pliable. At first, my son had some issues getting it to work (not sure why), but then the next day it just starting working correctly and has been working perfectly for just about a month now. We must have done something wrong that first day, because we haven't had any problems since. I'm sure there are better headsets out there (for a hefty price), but this one has been great and much more affordable. It's labeled for PC gaming, but I assure you that he's using it for PC, Xbox One (mainly) and PS4. I have been thrilled to finally find something that works AND it works for all of our devices!

Yes, it does. It is 2 separate cartridges: 1 tri-color cartridge and 1 black cartridge. Nice and simple!

I go away 4-5 months a year (winter), my NY printer remains idle, what happens to my plan?
I want to buy the office jet 8620 I understand it is eligible for this program. How will the plan work, if I go away for 4-5 months a year?

What if you don't run out of ink the first month? Do you still get ink?
This is an excellent question! I wondered the exact same thing! Now, I have an answer for you. When you enroll online for the program, it will tell you that you will get your first set of HP Instant Ink cartridges in about 10 days. Your Instant Ink program (free months and/or charges) won't start until you actually install one of those new cartridges into your printer though. Once you print something on your new printer (with the cartridges it came with), a message will pop up telling you that your Instant Ink program has now been officially set up. From that point, you'll get a set of cartridges in about 10 days. Just put them up until you need them. Once you install one or both of them, your program officially starts. That's when your free 3 months actually begins and then on the 4th month following that is when you'll be charged the appropriate monthly fee. If you chose a larger plan than you find that you really need, just change the plan before the charges begin. If you didn't choose a large enough plan, also upgrade to avoid any additional charges. :-)
