Get fit with the Garmin Forerunner running watch. This running watch has a built-in GPS that tracks your run, including distance and speed, without requiring you to carry a phone. A wrist-based heart monitor in the Garmin Forerunner running watch records your heartbeat all day so you can easily monitor your fitness level.
Although there are many nice features on the watch, the one issue I could NOT overlook was the relatively inaccurate GPS. I also ran with a Polar M400 several times, which was consistently more accurate head-to-head. Thus, my pacing was frequently off, for example, by 10-12 seconds per mile on a 5 mile run (as measured by my car odometer). That's just too much error. So, I returned it and am very happy with the Polar M400, which can be had for the same or less money (depending on the seller). That said, the Garmin does have a wrist HR monitor, which the Polar does not have.
