Thanks for the reminder, Best Buy. Great product except for the included hole saw which would not work at all (yes, correct rotation direction used). The rest — just fine. So! The extra trip to the hardware store made my experience far less enjoyable. But the rest was easy peasy and just great.

I have been there with a lot of tech over the years. From apple to d-link to netgear, extenders, bigger antennas, finally pretty happy with Asus RT66, upgraded to RT-AC5300 -- WAY BETTER than the prior names and overall pretty good, very capable stuff. Tried extending with the over-wire stuff too. A frustrating house for trying to get consistency. And hard to stay happy in my neighborhood with lots of wifi signal around. And galling to be paying for LTE service for my family , on their phones, at home, when the WIFI didn't do it.
WITH THE ORBI : You get one network name, somehow mixing 2.4 and 5 GHz. That was quite helpful. You also get mesh, a wide ranging signal that actually performs well. I have good signal throughout my house.
IF YOU ARE GETTING COX GIGABLAST, they are going to put their router in a rotten place, so being able to network to a central place for the main unit and then use the second to make it all work even better -- it worked out well.
Pricey, but less than the other mesh networks. I think ORBI is a winner for netgear. Bulky, but once set up, it is hiding in the background and just doing the job. I considered all the other mesh networks, I heard about this from a gal at best buy, and now I have it. About a month in, happy.

This is a kick-butt scanner, well worth the price, able to handle a big load of pictures and negatives in a reasonable period of time.
Pictures -- easy.
Negatives -- the only 'negative' is the tray -- which is totally excellent for orientation and position of negatives within AND position in the scanner AND orientation reminder -- but it is just a little clunky getting them secured with the plastic retention piece. If you are scanning massive numbers, buy another tray so you can flip them in and out without wasting time exchanging negatives serially.
Software -- excellent to have fully functional software for mac without compromises! Color correction on old pictures : AMAZING!!! Preserve and restore your family history!
I love my V550. CHEERS to EPSON for a fine product.

Stipulation : Ex-windows user, now nearly all Mac / IOS. Also, network services 2 computers, multiple ipods/ipads/iphones, and 2 xboxes. Obviously not all at once, but a lot of streaming.
My airport extreme conked out. I was intent on better speeds, and with Cox cable, you need every advantage you can get. $200 is a big price for a wireless router, but worth every penny for raw speed and easy vpn setup.
Setup is easy, encryption easy to set up.
Raw speed is easy, with 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 Ghz on separate networks, so you can get distance and penetration with 2.4 and raw speed up close with 5.0.
2 USB ports is great, my printers are already wireless or I would attach one. Have not figured out how to make a NAS work -- probably just me, but Mac and Asus, at least today, are not easy friends.
Having all IOS devices (iphones, ipads, etc) able to VPN with the flick of a toggle is awesome -- make your coffee shop / hotel wifi secure, or if the connection is good enough, stream your home cable to a remote location.
There are probably solutions to the mac-specific problem of using NAS, but they are not evident in the instructions that are a little technical. Probably would be easy in windows, or with data / instructions on the CD, which are inaccessible to Macbook air users.
Overall, just amazed at the overall performance. A fine piece of hardware.
