Popped this on my tripod the first night I received it. I saw the moon through the lens (at 83x) like I'd never seen it before in person. The Time-Lapse, Night setting, creates incredible movies at 1920x1080 resolution. It's amazing to see what occurs in the sky at night, even on the darkest nights. The only drawback I've found is its limited WiFi capability. It only works with smartphones and tablets, not laptops.

When will the Nikon P900 be available? On backorder, days, weeks, months??
This is a HOT item! I checked BestBuy every day for 3 weeks until I got lucky. The next day, they were gone. Nikon used to let a customer backorder one; they removed that choice in mid September.

Can the GPS be turned off?
I would like to know if you can disable the GPS system if you don't want it and want to save the battery.
Yes, the GPS can be turned On and Off. The default setting was Off when it arrived.

Is the lens integrated with camera? Or do we need to buy lens seperately?
Yes, the lens is included. Also, the lens is threaded to accept 67mm lens filters and magnifiers.
