I was a little unsure when I bought these headphones. (I actually went in to just get new Apple EarPods.) But after using them for a month or so, I love the Sol Republic Shadow. They fit very comfortably and don't way down on your neck. The sound quality is great and the battery seems to last a long time. I've used them for a couple days without charging, but I typically just plug them in to charge when I get home.
The two "problems" I have are small, and one of them is a purposeful design choice. When you don't have the buds in your ears but are still wearing Shadow around your neck, the buds just hang on their wires, bouncing all around as you walk. I suspect Sol Republic would say that if you're not listening, you can take them off and easily put them in your pocket (they are very flexible), but sometimes I don't want to do that.
The second thing that I actually don't like is that there is no way to go back or replay a song. You can skip forward, but there is no equivalent of the triple-click to go back. VERY annoying.
Otherwise, buy these AWESOME headphones!!

The thinnest iPad ever is also the most capable. It's loaded with advanced technologies, including the Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

I am upgrading from iPad (3rd generation), so iPad Air 2 was a big jump for me. It's incredibly light and fast. The screen is absolutely beautiful. Touch ID is a nice feature, and I like that the bezel has gotten so much smaller. The downside is that I have to buy all new cases and stands, but when you jump up 3 generations, that's the price.

reception

I bought a pair of these, and my only complaint was that I lost signal when my ipod was in my pocket. I need to have it in my pocket most of the time. Did any of you have this issue, or did I have a lemon pair and should try them again?
I don't have this issue. Very occasionally, I have to turn off and on bluetooth to reconnect because the connection gets static-y. Otherwise, maybe try a new pair.
(If your iPod is older, the bluetooth version may be old and have a shorter range. I had this problem a few years ago and just gave up on bluetooth headphones for awhile.)
