A phenomenal movie about a true musical legacy. I grew up loving NWA and Easy E and honestly didn't have high hopes when I heard there was a movie coming out but I was pleasantly surprised when I watched it. I just saw this movie at the theater and I wanted to write a review for the people waiting for the DVD or Blu-ray to come out. I liked the film but let me explain a couple of things. Since I was a child I have been fascinated by dinosaurs and I knew their names and statistics before I knew the names of all of my cousins. What can I say; I was a typical geek boy. I also loved Michael Crichton who wrote the book Jurassic Park and I consider his books to be among the best Sci-Fi I have read. I also loved the original film so I just had to see this one.
I found the film to be entertaining and full of action and the acting was solid and the CGI was perfectly done. The film animation of the dinosaurs was amazing. The film started a bit slow while it was trying to build up the character profiles and start the storyline. After the action started it was nonstop and it keeps your attention.
Chris Pratt playing Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard portraying Claire Dearing both did excellent jobs. How much did I like the film? I will definitely get the DVD and add it to my collection. It is a good film. It is not perfect though. The side plot of the military trying to weaponize the dinosaurs was just stupid. It could have been left out of the plot and the film would have been just as good. I also felt the character build up at the start of the movie was too long and could have been shorter. After all, the real stars of the film are the dinosaurs!
I still gave the film 5 stars as I enjoyed it and I would pay to see it again. I was entertained and the action and CGI of the dinosaurs made the film worthwhile to see.

Following the destructive events of the last film; the Avengers have now rebuilt a new headquarters and Tony Stark and Bruce Banner are in the process of programming a global peacekeeping machine program called Ultron. Things seem to go well at first, until Ultron becomes self-aware.
With Ultron now sentient, he does the opposite of what Stark and Banner wanted and develops an evil philosophy that in order to save the earth, he must exterminate mankind. He takes the powerful duo of Pietro “Quicksilver” and the beautiful but sneaky and psychological manipulative Wanda “Scarlet Witch” Maximoff under his leadership to carry out his plan to first kill every Avenger and then humanity.
With the fate of the earth and all who inhabit it in grave danger the Avengers must reassemble to prevent Ultron and his minions from destroying the planet. Along the way, the Avengers will face the ultimate test as their trust and friendship with each other is put on the line all in the middle of battle
Overall: Avengers – Age of Ultron was a major success and was just as great as the first film. Action packed with a well scripted plot to keep your attention beginning to end. One thing I loved about this sequel was the focus of the bonds with a lot of the characters involved in the film. Throughout you’ll see bond developments—good and bad, minor and major with Hulk/Banner, Iron Man and Ultron, Wanda and Pietro, and even Hawkeye and his wife. Hulk fans will be disappointed to know that the Hulk’s appearances and on-screen time in this installation of the film are kept to a minimum but in a way it all has to do with the story. I don’t want to spoil anything but I’ll just say that the ending leaves the viewer asking a lot of interesting and exciting questions about what the future holds for a few different Avengers in particular. All in all, it just leaves you wanting more! I was extremely satisfied with Avengers: Age of Ultron and I can’t wait for Infinity War to see what happens next. Any fan of the Avengers or any hero in general involved in the Avengers needs to add this one to their collection

Destruction on a massive scale

Think of this movie as every disaster movie rolled into one. I enjoyed San Andreas a lot and they certainly managed to cram almost every survival scenario into one movie.
When the movie started I thought it would be insanely cheesy with some of the lines Dwayne Johnson was saying, but luckily it got much better. Don't get me wrong, there were certainly cheesy parts (certain romances, and cliches) but when you see the first 5 minutes you'll know what I mean about expecting it to be way cheesier.
The movie is similar The Day After Tomorrow in that it's about one group's Journey and another's survival. Without giving anything away it focuses on two separate groups of people trying to get to eachother, however unlike most other disaster movies the main character (who is extremely likeable) is someone who is adequately trained and equipped to handle the situation, not the fish out of water that most disaster movies like to turn into the survival experts by the end of the film. This at least makes for a more believable plot and one heck of a fun ride.
In 2015 we expect great visuals and CGI, San Andreas does not disappoint, there were several points during the movie that I was focusing on the CGI to see it's quality and I was impressed. Hollywood's big budget disaster movies get better and better at destroying our cities with every iteration, San Andreas falls right in line, the visuals and accompanying audio are truly spectacular.
I highly recommend you see San Andreas if you like disaster movies, once the action gets started there are very few slow points, at only two hours long the movie does not feel drawn out - you won't be bored by the end of it. Watch it with big sound and a big screen if you can.
Hope you enjoyed my review! Wish I could be more specific but I don't want to ruin any of the (albeit somewhat predictable) plot.

The Mad Max series is finally enjoying a long awaited (30 years!) return to form (or is it?). Fury Road brings our titular hero back into the spotlight where he deserves to be. This time around Mel Gibson has been replaced with fan favorite actor Tom Hardy (Inception, Warrior, The Dark Knight Rises). Not only was Hardy a perfect cast from the aesthetic standpoint (looks very much like a younger Mel Gibson in the movie) but the way he plays the character makes it feel like he's been doing it forever.
The supporting cast was anything but lost in this one. In fact many people will say they stole the show (mostly because of Hardy's more limited role). Theron turns in an excellent performance as the Imperator Furiosa and raises the bar of the female hero almost to the levels of Sigourney Weaver's Ellen Ripley from the Alien movies. Nicholas Hoult (Google him) plays someone that hardly resembles him or anything else he's done and does a great job making you feel conflicted about his character Nux.
Chaotic and brutal, those are the two most defining words to describe this movie. The action in this film is so intense and so constant the minutes in between scenes where it slows down (albeit with an uneasy tension) are just enough for you to catch your breath. Don't be fooled by the extravagantly improbable scenes. Most of which you see in this film was ACTUALLY done (not CGI). Many, if not all of the race scenes are all done with professional drivers and stunt people, making the movie just that much more incredible
George Miller (who also directed the first 3 movies) returns to re-create his dry and desolate world and fill it with vile villains and heroic heroes.
