Great movie except for language

I bought this movie because I heard Mark Wahlberg said this was the most important movie he had ever made. For that remark only, I wanted to see the movie. It is truly a really impressive piece of work and a truly brave man he portrays. The story deserves to be told and Mr. Wahlberg does a fine job doing so.
That being said, I would give this five stars if it weren't for the bad language used in the movie. I'm aware that this is prevalent is many movies of this type, but I wish it weren't so. It took away from the experience somewhat for me.

I never get tired of seeing this movie, especially seeing the airplane fighter scenes. The movie is especially good if you have surround sound and a BluRay player! Definitely worth the price!

Truly enlightening

I don't know how Jackie Robinson managed to put up with what he faced as he attempted to face racial bias in the baseball leagues, especially among his teammates, of all people. I grew up in the 60s, a white child in the South, when the world around me was turbulent with racial strife. It wasn't until I was a teenager I realized what it was about and am really just now as an adult better understanding the full scope of the struggle of our black brothers and sisters. But this movie outstandingly portrays this problem and makes you think at the same time. It's an incredible piece of work!

If you like space, this is an interesting enough movie. It could have been much better if George Clooney had survived longer (Ha! Ha!). It was believable, though, and I enjoyed my hitchhiked journey to the cosmos.
