Really great almost

Cons: Short non replaceable battery. Overheats when using. Overheats when charging.
Pros: Great quality and variety of options.
Explanation: If there are short events that you want to catch all the action of, then this is the camera for you. It's great for roughly 45min - 1.5hours depending on temperature and video quality (30 min on 4k 1h45min on 720). If you want to record for longer than that, you will need a second gopro or wait for the device to recharge. I haven't accurately timed the charging and it doesn't always let you know it's done. It will overheat and freeze when its charged for too long. Charging while in operation is not a viable solution because the frame it's housed in for mounting doesn't allow the access panel to be opened, and if you work around that, then it just overheats and shuts off.
I've heard that in colder temperatures the battery discharges much faster, and in forums, several people have reported not being able to keep it cool enough to charge and use. The wireless connection to the app usually needs 3 or 4 attempts before it connects, but once it does it gives you a great preview for staging purposes. I got it for its small size to attach to my helmet and i dont feel any significant wind drag from it. But overall i think it's a great almost. Hopefully next version will make it more usable.
