Got these after going through about 3 sets of Duracells and 3 Duracell chargers. So far (after about 4 charge cycles) I have no complaints. I would skip the Duracells and get these. These actually recharge and the chargers last more than 2 charge cycles. Be aware that there are different amperages that are offered in the AA Size from Energizer, so make sure that you get the correct amperage to match your electronics (most electronics won't complain, but the amperage ratings go from 1300 all the way up to 2400 so just read the package).

Not much I can say here, other than PNY makes great products and is of decent quality. CAn't say much about flash drives as they are common place and the technology is pretty much the same no matter what brand you buy. I would definitely recommend PNY to someone, though. I've used their memory, flash drives and some of their video cards and have yet to have an issue with any of them.

When I purchased this at BB, it was $70 (on sale), which is a great price point for a 240GB SSD. This SSD is fast (although, not the fastest one out there, but for $70, it's very affordable). So far so good. NO issues that I can report even after a month of heavy use. If you have a hard drive, get an SSD (any SSD really) you won't be disappointed, and they all have come down drastically in price and have become way more reliable than in the early days (8-10 years ago).

Good cable for general use. Don't fall for the gold plated BS. There is no real perceivable difference between regular plating and gold plating. save money and get this cable versus the overpriced gold plated one. i mainly use it for going from my laptop to my TV for working (not watching video or playing games) so it works fine. For basic stuff (cables, keyboards, mice, etc) Insignia is an OK brand to buy. I personally wouldn't buy any of their high-end stuff (TVs, etc). But that's just my personal preference.

Excellent Duracell Reliability

Overall I have had no issues with Duracell alkaline batteries, so these are fine. Basically any major brand is fine. The only issue I have with Duracell in general is their rechargable batteries. Their chargers tend to reject batteries after a couple uses. But these alkaline batteries are fine and work just as well. I only use rechargable to help reduce the amount of waste I generate.

I was looking for a blu ray player that did 3D blu ray, hulu, netflix, and that could support Plex media server, and as far as I'm concerned, this player does it all and works well. I've even tried the Plex media player app and it seems to work fine despite complaints I've read online (but I need to watch a full 2 hr movie to be sure--only watched a 10 minute segment when testing it). Can't talk about the 3D capabilties as I don't have a 3D TV (yet). USB plug is nice feature so you can play your own movies on a flash drive/HD, or look at pictures from external media. Why buy a new smart TV? This does the same thing.

I have my video library saved on my computer which is connected to my wireless home network. Can this device stream movies saved on my home network via wireless?
Or you can just get the Blu ray player for play video and a Roku player. roku players (even the cheap $50 model) can use the Plex media player app to play media from a Plex media server running on a networked PC.

No I don't think you can with this player, as it runs Opera. So unless Samsung has an Opera app to play video files from a network (which I couldn't find myself when I was looking fora Blu ray player) you will need to get one of the more expensive models, preferrably one that supports Smart Hub--then you can get Plex media client which will allow you to play media from a Plex media serve running on a networked PC. I got the BD-H6500 model, and it's a bit more money, but well worth it considering it does everything a new Smart TV will do basically.

Does this come with a cable to connect to the tv?
Do I need to purchase separate cable to connect from blu-ray player to tv before I could use it, or does it already come with it?
No it does not include a cable.
