The ClearStream 4V HDTV Antenna uses patented technology to receive TV signals 70 miles away from broadcast towers. Ideal for suburban and rural areas where heavy foliage or roofing materials reduce the incoming signal. The dedicated UHF and VHF multi-directional elements deliver range and reception in less than ideal locations. The ClearStream 4V comes with mounting hardware and a 20in. mount with a pivoting foot to allow installation on vertical or horizontal surfaces.

I have this mounted inside the house upstairs about 25' from the ground. Pointed in the right direction I get stations over 100mi from where I live and in HD (720p). I also get around 50 channels (depending on the weather) for free! Bad thing is some of them are duplicate local stations in other cities (NBC, CBS, ABC, ETV). I do get Comet though and Antenna TV.
One weird thing about this though is that I get these stations 100mi out but can't get some of the stations in the city 50mi from me. Must be the terrain or something messing that up.

It's got potential for those who want an easy to install device with little hassle.
First big issue is there's no way to reboot the device without physical access. The reboot is always step #1 for troubleshooting and they make this a PIA.
Second: The battery level indicator is inaccurate (at least on mine). Hardwired to the door it said it was at 60% all night, even after streaming tests. This morning it's at 60%. I took it off rebooted it and put it on a charger and 5 min later it's at 85%. Took it off the charger; reinstalled it and the it went to 74%, 1 minute after saying it was at 85%. It's steadily draining while on hardwired even though it's not recording anything. I've quadruple checked my plate is flat and that the contacts are clean, but there's no real indication to check for power input - other than the drain (which I'm not sure is reading correctly). Something better than whether a white light is on is needed. I get 20v from the connection.
Video Quality: rather poor. Even though it's 720p the bitrate is very low and with a high amount of compression. A Foscam at work running 720p @ 1Mb/s 10FPS has better IQ than the ring. Add PTZ, a lower entry price, and you've got a device far better than the Ring, though not as "pretty." The ring videos are 720p just about 900Kb/s and 15FPS. My upload speed is 1.5 to 2.5Mb/s so it can handle a higher bit rate - the Ring is on a different AP and Gateway than my main internet use. I have 4 different gateways (all cell from Sprint, VZ, and AT&T). The Ring in on Sprint since it's the least used Gateway.
Web interface is lacking. All other cheap IP cams have access via web interface or an app. The Ring only allows you to view past events via web with no way to download except via mobile app. You have to use a third party extension to retrieve videos through a browser. No health/batter info either. They do have a ad in your dashbord. You wanna see you order history? You get to see the stuff you don't have. It would be nice if there was an embedded websever so you wouldn't need to send the video to Ring and then download the stream to your device. It's an unnecessary waste of bandwidth when you should be able to directly stream from your internal Wifi network.
Basically, if you want an easy to install no frills basic device grab this and you'll be happy. If you want to save money, put in more work in set up, have better image quality, and pay no one to record your videos, keep your dumb doorbell and grab an IP cam. They can record to SD, local or remote servers, have extensive scheduling, reboot remotely, and PTZ. My wife wanted the "prettier" device instead of the better cam so I got the ring. When it dies I switching to a PTZ IPCam. The wife will have no input next time.
I'd still recommend this to people, but would strongly recommend an IP Cam to someone who's not afraid to put in some work for a better device.

I've got both the Google Home and the LF-S50G. While I love the Google Home I have a hard time understanding it sometimes because the speaker is so bass heavy. Sound come out muffled and doesn't travel across a room clearly... except for the bass that my daughter in the next room can hear. The LF-S50G is more of a flat sound which sounds a lot better when listening to speech. So news, weather, and such comes out clean and audible anywhere in the room. Downside is that music tends to sound rather flat for the music I listen to (Old School Hip Hop and R&B). The Home has it beat in the Beat department.
Microphones seem to perform kinda equally - I generally have to repeat "Hey, Google" multiple times for them to hear me. I've got a semi-deep voice so mainly it's me - even drive through cashiers have a hard time understanding me so I have add a little treble when placing orders. Once the "Hey, Google" is registered the LF-S50G hears me a little better. I can give commands across the room at normal level (with a window AC on upstairs). With the Home I have to talk louder. Echo dot works waaaay better than both units when it comes to the wake up commands and speaking commands.
So far, I think I may keep the LF-S50G unless the Sonos One has better audio and microphone performance. The main reason for getting the LF-S50G was to 1) be able to actually hear words without it being muffled and 2) not have to repeat myself. The LF-S50G only passes one of those tests. Makes you wonder why you can't tweak the mic gain and equalize the speakers on these speakers.
So, which is better depends on what you want. Audible sound that isn't muffled - LF-S50G. Music with some decent bass from a tiny speaker - the Google Home (plus it's cheaper). I'd probably be better of hardware modding the Home and hooking up a JBL Charge to it (I love it - nice bass with clear mids and highs).
Connect to your compatible speakers with this Logitech 980-000910 adapter, which features Bluetooth technology that allows you to wirelessly stream audio from most Bluetooth-enabled devices. The push button pairing ensures simple setup.

She's never had a computer, let alone a laptop. This being her first brought a big smile to her face. Sure it's not fast enough for me, but for a light normal user it's a bargain.

I got this for my daughter and she loves it. The major downsides are 1) the refills are more that 2x what the "melty" 3d pens are 2) The UV light is quite a bit of concern if she accidentally looks directly into it. Other than those two issues, she's having a blast with it.
