I wasn't sure how much I'd like this movie, but it was great! Christoph Waltz always makes a great villain. There's plenty of action and a bit of romance. Margot Robbie makes a strong female lead, and Sam Jackson give that pinch of humor that's needed. The 3D was good.

I had to order these online. Despite the fact that Best Buy has a number of Sony 3D tv's for sale in their store, they don't have the 3D glasses stocked. The glasses are comfortable, but don't fit nicely over prescription glasses. They're pricey too - 2x the cost of Samsung active 3D glasses of the same nature - almost the same cost as samsungs rechargeable glasses. I wouldn't have bought these if I didn't have to in order to enjoy 3D blu Ray dvd's.

Amazing conclusion to the series

This movie was great. I didn't read the books - so I don't know how it compares. Has plenty of action. And you get the closure - knowing who ends up where. I loved it. My only complaint is that it seemed too long.

Great quality picture

I got this tv as a replacement for another. I had a Samsung 46" 3D/smart/HDTV that way irreparable 18 months after purchase. I had a geek squad protection plan that covered the cost of this tv.
Although they're both HDTV, I feel like this Sony tv presents a picture that has a noticeably superior quality. It's bright & sharp! Set up & mounting on the wall was easy. I have not used the android features, as I already have an Apple TV that I prefer.
My only complaint would be that the tv doesn't come with any 3D active glasses. My Samsung came with 2! Not only did the Sony not come with them, but not a single Best Buy in my central Florida area had them. How can you carry a variety of 3D Sony tv's & not supply the glasses? I can't tell you the quality of the 3D image b/c it's going to take over a week to get a pair of glasses shipped to store for pick up!

A film like no other

I read the book before seeing the film. It translated pretty well, although some things were missing/changed. I didn't feel like the film captured the difficulty of their transition from captivity to home the way the book did. With that said, still a wonderful movie that will evoke a roller coaster of emotions.

I was so happy to find this reasonably priced. Before, they only had a larger package for the 3D movie that was almost $50. The movie is funny and has a good message in it. There was a good mix of child & adult humor. The 3D was ok - not amazing. I was impressed with the detail of everything made of legos - especially the ocean.

I really liked this movie. it has a great science fiction approach to questioning the beginning of life on earth & whether meeting your maker is something good or bad. Some of the 3D effects were nice, but nothing exactly popping off the screen...I had hoped for more than I got.

sony tv energy star rating
i was wondering why the sony 55in tv is not energy star rated Sony KDL55W800C LED HDTV , the energy guide sticker says 12.00yearly estimate energy cost, the 50 inch Sony KDL50W800C LED HDTV is energy star rated and the guide says 10.00 yearly estimate, are the estimates correct and why isnt the 55inch model energy star certified. thank you
I just purchased the 55" tv & it has an energy star sticker on it. I don't know why it says it's not certified online.
