Before i purchased-i was thinking of a lot of complicated things like installing a dusk to dawn sensor to my porch light or a timer. But when i found out that they made a smart bulb like this-it saved me a lot of work. You can program this bulb to turn on and off base on the sunset/sunrise time in your location.
