Do not expect these headphones to be ready to use right out of the box. It took quite a bit of working and reworking the ear wrap around to fit the shape of my ear at least enough for the headphone portion to actually go into my ear without me pushing on it and holding it in place. Once I realized the wrap around is flexible and (for the most part) stays in the shape you put it into, things got better. From there it was a matter of figuring out which ear tip fit me best. I was impressed with how many tip options came with the headphones, however only one option out of the eight fit in my ear. So it will suck when the times comes where one gets lost or ripped, I hope jlab eventually offers a tip kit separately. It also took A LOT of moving them around, like 2 songs worth of time, to get them to sit comfortably and not feel uneven.
The sound quality on these headphones seems great. Especially for this price point. The base and tremble sounds right on. I am one that is picky about sound quality and I was satisfied with these, I tested them with rock music, both live and studio, and todays hits and edm. All were good. I was however not impressed with the noise cancelling, the tips that fit me the best did an okay job at outside noise cancelling. But when I have to use another tip in the future, the noise cancelling will be lacking for sure. I used these both outdoors and still heard an occasional loud car. And in the gym and heard some background noise from other people.
The controls are very easy to use, I like how you just have to hold the up or down button to change the song rather than double clicking or anything. Also I like that it is micro usb chargeable, so many devices run on that change now a days and it is annoying when devices are not. Also nice to get a case to put these in. I had another pair of bluetooth headphones and I only made the mistake of putting them in my gym bag once, because all sorts of small debris stuck to them, but with a case that will not happen with these.
I was least impressed with the range as far as distance. At the gym I often leave my phone at the machine while I go get a paper towel and my $30 bluetooth headphones never lose connection when I do that, however these were skipping in and out of connection just 10-15 feet away. At one point after it kept struggling to stay connected, I had my phone in my hand, and the headphones still said lost connection, out of range. And the battery level on both were good.
Overall my two biggest complaints are the comfort level and distance range. Sound is great. I like all the extras that come with them. But I would give up the case to have these be more comfortable in my ears.

First Impressions:
First thing I noticed about this product was that it was much larger than I expected. Compared to the several portable speakers I have, both wired and wireless, this is definitely the largest, it is almost like a pretty small boombox. Next thing I noticed was the material. I found it interesting that this product is shockproof for drops but there is literally no rubber in the construction, just plastic. I would think they would have put it on at least the edges for shock absorption or if anything, grip, considering this product would be put in a wide variety of locations. It feels like one or two decent drops and any of the edges would crack. The buttons all feel heavy duty and its nice that they are back-lit. On the side below the power button, there is a switch that says it is a lock. It took me way longer than I would have liked it to, to figure out what exactly that locked. I thought that would be a lock to the compartment on the bottom so that it didn't accidentally get opened, but nope. It ended up being a lock to disable the control buttons on the top. After trying to skip songs and change volume and NOTHING happening, I realized the lock controls the buttons. I looked in the directions that came with it and it was not mentioned at all. Just that it was a lock. Speaking of the directions, those could be really improved, some more information on the switching of sources would have been nice. I also noticed that the charging port and charger is a round dc plug. This was a big bummer because its one more charger I have to keep track of it and have sitting around, so many products are micro usb chargeable now, I was expecting that, or even the wider usb 3.0 if it needs more power.

Sound:

For its large size, I was looking forward to hearing some good bass come out of it but it strongly lacks bass performance, and overall a good sound at that. I understand this speaker is not going to sound like a boss speaker, considering it can go underwater, but I was expecting more, especially in this price range. I did notice when I was further away from it AND in the open outside, it sounded better than up close.

Water Test:
Even though it killed me to put something electronic into water, I still wanted to put it to the test, so I slowly put it into my pool at first, it slowly got its balance and angled itself in the water so that it was angled up with the speaker facing upwards. As soon as the speaker compartment panel got wet by me moving it around a little, that was it, the sound got muffled it and took a lot of shaking it out to get it to sound, well, not underwater sounding. It easily floated around the pool all on its own though, not looking like it was struggling to stay afloat, that was with no one in the pool rough housing. When I took it out after about 20 minutes, I dried it all off and let it air dry for awhile, and then opened all the compartments to see if they were wet. The bottom compartment that is supposed to house your phone, was completely dry. That compartment has a nice seal and latch to it. However the side compartment that has a cheap cover, not rubber but a soft plastic material and no latch, did not seal well at all(I made sure before I put it in water that it was pushed in as far as it could go) The whole compartment was wet and even the charging port was clogged with water. I don't get why that panel could not get a nice cover like the bottom has.

I liked the fact that this was a wet or dry shaver and I could use it in the shower. The flexibility in the different trim settings and lengths was also nice. Felt very ergonomic as well, even was not slippery in the shower.

There is so much to love about this blu-ray player. The first thing I liked about it right off the bat was the remote. I have an older model sony blu-ray player and the remote on it is way more complicated than this players remote, and this player does way more!!
The set up for this player was very easy. In fact when I had the power cord plugged in, and the hdmi cable connected to the tv, the last step was to plug the hdmi into the player, and the second I did that my tv turned on and switched to the correct input for this player. (I am using this model with a 2016 model samsung 4k smart tv) After this it continued to be simple. It asked me a few questions about language preference, wifi preference, etc. It did a quick software update on its own, and just like that it was ready to go.
The main menu was very clear and not confusing like other operating system menus I have seen on products like this. Since you are navigating by remote, on other systems it can sometimes be unclear about which icon you are on on the screen, but this one was very clear. On screen you will see options to play the disc in the player, or use other built in apps. The ability to set the preferred apps you want always on your main screen is very easy, otherwise there is a option after a couple more remote clicks to see all the other apps available. I tried the pandora, youtube, and netflix apps and all again were very easy to navigate just like the devices main menu. I watched youtube videos that I knew were in 4k and others that were in 720p or 1080p and all looked good, of course 4k looked the best but 720p still was not terrible.
Next I tried two different blu-ray discs. The first was the most recent hunger games movie and I did notice a slight improvement in the quality compared to our blu-ray player that does not feature 4k up-scaling, although the difference was not all that drastic or impressive, I am still hesitant on how well of a feature that really is. I also had to mess around in my tv's picture settings to improve how the movie looked, but that is not the players fault. Next I tried a blu-ray concert dvd from a pop concert that definitely had a lot of light and color and detail, it was a great disc to test this product with, and it honestly looked great. I was impressed and being the video quality nerd that I am, I found myself paying more attention to the video quality rather than the actual concert.
Overall this is a great blu-ray player, the easy operating system along with the built in apps definitely make it worth it. Still hesitant on the 4k up-scaling feature but I'm sure as technology progresses that feature will be more noticeable.

I go back and forth about if I like this cradle. The biggest thing I struggle with is, is it really necessary?? Because technically it is not, the lower back of the revolve+ speaker has a micro usb port and it charges just fine through that. But at the same time, the cradle is much easier because when I want to grab the speaker and take it somewhere, all I do it grab it and go. The micro usb port on the back of the speaker is a very tight fit and it takes a bit of time(I'm careful with it) to unplug it and then go. Basically the cradle is not necessary to have but it is just one of those things that makes life a tiny bit easier and cooler. My only disappointment with the cradle is how short of a micro usb cord it comes with, I had to rearrange my office area a bit to get this cradle close enough to a outlet. Otherwise this is a convenient and stylish gadget to have.

This was my first Bose product but not my first time using or hearing a Bose product, I knew going into this product that the quality would be great, I just did not know how great. And gosh is it great. When it comes to connecting to a device for the first time, like most bluetooth products these days, it is very very easy. Anytime after the first connection, it just connects automatically. What I think is the best feature of this product though is the fact that it is round. I work in an autoparts store and due to the buildings size and amount of shelves and product we have, it is hard to have music playing to hear everywhere in the store. Just a basic radio sounds terrible and we gave up on it when a coworker bought a Bose soundlink color speaker II. We put it on a top shelf and it really sounds great, especially on the sales floor where it faces. However in the back of the store in the stock area, since we do not have the speaker facing back there it gets hard to hear. But this speaker, since it is round it is PERFECT for that exact situation, being in the middle of the store we can hear if perfectly no matter where we are in the store. I can also see this being perfect for both indoor or outdoor gatherings where background noise is wanted, instead of a direct speaker giving off sound in one direction, this is a much more even sound in every direction around it. I have always been one to love a lot of bass when I to music and this does not disappoint. Also the battery life is great, I can get just about 15 hours out of it before it starts beeping that it needs a charge. I really cannot describe the sound of this speaker other than being impressive, it has the classic Bose sound in a smart shape. I highly recommend this speaker for anyone who likes good quality sound.

As my family has used quite a few different vacuums in our house in the last few years, I was SO SO SO excited to get a Dyson and see for myself what was so great, I had always heard great things about them but just could never bite the bullet and purchase one. Now that I have used it a few times though, I am honestly disappointed, here is why.
The packaging was impressive, that I will admit. But when it came time to assemble the Dyson, it was unnecessarily difficult. I am a very handy and mechanical minded person, I can do A LOT of things without the instructions, this one had me frustrated though. Both my mom and I got confused several times and the directions were not very helpful, very vague wording and the pictures lacked any helpful details. After about 15 minutes of messing around with it, it was finally built, but it did not feel very sturdy or well built.
It then came time to plug it in and turn it on. When I hit the power button I heard the motor in it just very briefly move for a moment and then nothing. And when I say a very brief moment I really mean it, my mom who was standing about ten feet away did not even hear it happen. After another 5-10 minutes of unplugging it, plugging it back in, pressing the power button and the button next to it many times, and even removing the base from the rest of the machine to make sure it was assembled correctly. My mom then noticed that the lights in the room would not turn on either. We then realized it blew a circuit breaker. We have never had a home appliance do that before, not even when we had all the lights on in our basement, and running our big old carpet shampooer, with a handful of other electronics running, that just does not happen. After flipping the breaker back on, the vacuum turned on and never acted up again, it really was weird, that was strike two for me on this product.
Now that I was actually using the product, I used it on every floor surface in our house which was carpet, tile, and hardwood. I will say, the self adjusting height option was pretty cool, it always seemed to be riding at the right height for whatever surface I was cleaning. The suction was also very impressive, there was a lot of very small particles in the dust container, smaller than what I usually see with our other vacuum. Also the carpet really did look cleaner and "fluffed" I guess is the word, it made it look slightly newer and fresher. Also impressive was the "ball" function, when I wanted to turn the vacuum, all I had to do was a simple turn of the wrist and the head of this vacuum did an even tighter than 90 degree turn to the side, it would start to curve back towards me slightly, it was like nothing I'd ever seen before and I did like it. But honestly the positives end there. The removable hose and attachments are awkward and not as easy to handle as other vacuums we have in our home.
Overall, this vacuum does have a few positives going for it like the suction and the turning capabilities. But it falls pretty short on everything else. My biggest disappointment is the overall quality of the product. I cannot emphasize just how cheap and cheesy this product feels. In this price range, I expect a product to feel very study and strong. I call it the "fit and finish," and it really lacks, all the plastic feels very cheap and easily breakable. Especially in the removable debris cartridge, there is a ton of plastic pieces and hinges and clips and such, many seem unnecessary, and they all seem so fragile, I know eventually something will break. Also another big complaint I have is I guess what I would call the stance, the main hinge that either keeps the vacuum standing upright, or allows you to tilt it back to use the product, feels so weak, I have to really push it forward until I hear a few good strong clicks otherwise it falls backwards. It did that several times to me until I realized I really have to push it far forward and keep my hand there for a second to make sure it locked in place. Again this main hinge is a problem when I want to tilt the vacuum back on its back wheels to transport it somewhere. This is something that almost EVERY other vacuum on the market can handle but this one, the hinge just gives out and the vacuum head falls forward smacking the ground, I guess this product is just not meant to be pushed around while not being used, and instead carried? Either way it is inconvenient, this vacuum is not very light and what about the older people who may not be able to carry it? I know in the future when I need to buy another vacuum, or if a friend or family member asks my opinion on the options out there, as they so frequently do, I would easily tell them spend half the price of a Dyson as it is not worth the money at all, and go for the other big brand(s) on the market.

You can really never go wrong when buying name brand ink. I once tried to buy economy/generic ink refills for my printer and it was a terrible idea. For the few bucks more for the name brand product that would have come with your printer originally, its worth every bit of it! I have never experienced a issue with this ink for my canon printer

The Linksys VELOP system is something to marvel at the moment it shows up at your door. I was floored over the quality of the packaging, you can tell this is something linksys is really proud of. (I kinda don't want to throw the packaging away because it looks that nice, it doesn't feel like something you just throw away!) And they also nailed it when you look at the design of the 3 nodes. My mother, mrs.hgtv, who thinks everything has to look nice and match! She had no problem with me putting these around the house in clear sight, as they are far from an eyesore. I have previously used 4 other linksys routers and had no problems with any of them so I knew going into using this one, especially for its price point and its method of working, that it would be great. When it came time to set everything up, it was very easy, I do not have the most experience when it comes to setting up routers and I was a little intimidated, though I've gotten better! This system was not challenging for me at all. I was really excited to see how fast the speeds would be with this system. In our home we have 5 laptops, 7 tablets, 5 smartphones, a smart blue ray player, and just added a smart 4k tv and arlo surveillance cameras. When we added the last few wifi devices to the group, I noticed a speed change with our previous router and was impressed with how velop made all these gadgets run smoother like they once did before the last router got overloaded. The linksys android app is also so easy to navigate and make changes on. Overall, this system is the way to go, and the nodes method of wifi delivery is definitely the way of the future, especially for larger homes or homes with a lot of wifi demand. Linksys nailed it with this system!

I am beyond impressed with this product. The packaging was great. The setup process is really what amazed me. I set most of it up on my own without directions, but it was so easy and smooth that I referred to the directions to make sure I was not missing any steps, it was that simple! The app is very easy to navigate and set up. Setting up the base and getting the cameras connected was so easy. I was wondering how these cameras would be wireless and rechargeable, meaning I would have to occasionally take them down to charge them, and I was hoping that would not be a hassle to do, but they ended up being magnetic to their mounts which is straight up awesome! Just have to be sure to mount these outside in a spot they cannot get stolen. The quality on the cameras is also great, I am a bit of a camera quality nerd as it is and these exceeded my expectations for what they are. The only function I am not sure about yet is the alarm function. From the app on your phone you can set off a REALLY loud alarm out of the base, it gave a warning that it was loud but it was way louder than I expected and when I tried to hit turn off alarm it would not turn off, eventually had to just unplug the base and it hurt my ears for awhile, so don't set that off unless you are ready for it. I honestly cannot figure out what that alarm would be useful for, especially if I keep the cameras outside and the base is in the house, although I did not turn the alarm on while standing outside to see if it could be heard. Other than that function, I really do like this system, as long as the batteries hold up over time and hold a decent charge, I can see this being a very beneficial and easy system to use. It would be great for someone who does not have any security system hardware yet and is looking to get started with it, or for someone who already has an advanced setup already and this is just additional coverage and protection.
