Finally able to get the first floor laundry I have always wanted. Put combo in spare room upstairs and I wash more often because its so easy. Washer is full size, not a small one, Can do a full load and dry it.

Can the dryer vent to the side?
yes, if you get enough vent hose, it can go either right or left side.

Where is the vent on the dryer?
Where is the vent exhaust on the dryer in the rear, top/bottom/middle?
Vent is located right between the washer and dryer, in the middle.

Yes, the dryer can operate while the washer is going.
