Good solid battery pack with good features

The DJI battery packs in general have always been good quality in my experience delivering good flight time and a long life. The Phantom 4 flight battery doesn't disappoint. With LiPo batteries caring for them properly always make them last longer and perform better. To help with this these packs feature a programmable delay in days before the pack automatically puts itself into storage mode. This helps the battery from decaying and really prolongs its functional life. This feature along with the built-in charge level display and solid build quality make the DJI batteries a great value.

Great drone for fun and work

I actually purchased this drone for an aerial mapping job I started that needed an efficient, long flight time VTOL system that had good GPS geotagging directly on the photos captured. Other systems I've used capture photos with a good camera but have to be geotagged independently through another process. Other GoPro based drones either can't or don't do a good job of triggering the GoPro for automated mapping jobs. GoPro photos are also not ideal for mapping as they distort the image at high resolution setting or capture lower resolution that don't distort. Not the Phantom 4 - it has a great built-in camera that does not distort the image even on the highest resolution. Outside of the automated mapping apps the DJI Go app does a great job easily allowing control of the drone systems as well as detailed, fine control of the camera settings. Great for photographers that need more access to camera control than the GoPro allows. Some great safety features including the forward facing collision detection and ease of use make this system really powerful and a good value for the money.

Good solid smart TV

This TV works as advertised and has had no weird issues so far. I have the larger model in this line as well and they both have been great. I like the new remote with better button control and the keboard on the back to make searching in Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc. much easier. The previous remote was really quirky but they've resolved that with this newer model.

Solid headphones at a great price

I use the headphones every day for extended periods throughout the day to be able to use my mobile phone hands free and listen to pod casts while working. They are comfortable, sound great and seem very durable. I had used the Bose MEI2 head phones for years and am mainly comparing the JBL to this model. With the Bose I had to replace them at least once a year because they didn't hold up to the beating they took with every day use. The wires would pull away from the harder plastic parts and fray. In contrast the flat and stiffer wires of the JBL head phones don't tangle nearly as bad as the Bose' thinner silicone wires. The downside to the JBL's stiffer and less tangle prone wires is that they transmit more handling and friction noise through to the ear buds. That being said the noise is manageable with better wire handling techniques I've started to learn including using the built-in collar clip that helps anchor the head phones to your clothing. I really like the price as opposed to the more expensive Bose as well as the sound quality seems better in the bass frequencies when the molded silicon ear buds are properly inserted into the inner ear. Properly inserting the silicon ear buds also greatly improves the ambient noise reduction and makes them comparable to the really expensive noise cancelling head phones. The technique of properly inserting the molded ear buds is easy to learn and you'll really hear the difference when done right. They work well with my Windows 8.1 phone including volume & call control as well as voice command initiation. The mic has good sensitivity and clear. Overall the head phones have solid build quality, good audio performance and a reasonable price. A very good value in my opinion.

This 3 way extension arm, grip and tripod worked great on a trip I took recently. I used all 3 features and found it to be a great balance of size, weight and features. The build quality is nice while being not overly heavy. The trip pod had a bit of a small base but worked well on sand even in windy conditions. I like how it folds down so small and makes for easy packing on trips.

Good float if not using large mounts or attachment

The build quality of the GoPro float back is good and the float greatly improves visibility with it's bright orange color. The only problem I found was that if you were using attachments or mounting systems that were larger (like the foldable extension arm) the weight was too much for the float to overcome and it still sinks - albeit slowly. The size is nice and not too bulky for packing. There is a fine balance between size/weight and functionality and I think this float back is close to being right.

Great water and shock proof camera

I originally bought this camera for the GPS geo tagging capability to compete in a drone search and rescue competition. It worked great for that purpose but a few weeks later I took it to Kaua'i for a honeymoon trip. This is where it really shined with its underwater features as well as the GPS geo tagging. The only complaint I have is the focusing is sometimes flaky and there were a few shots of wildlife that I missed because the focusing didn't function properly. Now, admittedly this may have been due to external factors like water on the lens or lighting conditions but I can't be sure. I am looking forward to loading a Canon Hacker's Development Kit (CHDK) version for this camera to enhance certain features including remote triggering, focusing and time lapse.

Does this come with the camera?
Yes the camera is integrated into the drone. Unlike other drones that require some kind of action camera like a GoPro the DJI Phantom 4 series includes a camera. The only thing the drone does not come with is the tablet or phone for viewing the camera output and settings control.
