This stereo has everything I was looking for! Touch screen works great, really easy to setup and navigate thru. If I want to switch from my phone's music to radio, it's just a quick touch of the screen with no distraction from driving. The Bluetooth is great for steaming music and hands free talking on the phone

Kenwood DDX371

I am getting the Kenwood DDX371 installed in my car on Saturday. I would like to have my Ipod connected to the stereo. What cable do I need to get for this...? There is a small round plug in the back of the deck. Or would it sync up using the usb connection? There is an Ipod app on the screen, I just want to be able to use it as designed... Also does this unit have navigation? If so do I need to buy something extra to make it work? Sorry for so many questions.
They sell the cable kit for a USB kit at best buy. You don't need it to sync up with your I pod, but it works better if it is, plus it charges it at the same time. No, it doesn't have navigation with it. They don't tell you that you have to buy a mic kit if you want to use the phone option or a usb kit to be able to plug you phone directly into it. Figure an additional $60 in parts for installation
