Got a new Vizio UHD TV with built-in apps that are very limited.
Only Netflix, Amazon and few others that are YAHOO based.
After a month I decided I love the UHD TV and 5.1 sound bar with speakers but hate the limited functionality of the apps so I went to get another Roku. New models gave me many options and I picked the Premiere Plus since my TV does not have High Dynamic Range.
All the usual Roku features plus it upscales non-UHD channels to a better picture quality. Now I can use my SHOWTIME (2 months free with purchase) and HBO apps plus other Roku apps like the TWC (Spectrum) app since I have moved my 3 other Roku to other locations.
Only Netflix, Amazon and few others that are YAHOO based.

I wanted a Bluetooth Speaker for my iPhone and Dell laptop to play iTunes and stream Amazon Music. Found this model that can be paired. Bought one and liked it so much that I returned and bought the second. Now I have one at each end of the mantle across the room. Voice inside speaker tells you when it is powering on and off plus how much battery power time remains. Will also power off automatically after a few minutes when not connected. Only drawback is the super short charging cord (9 inches?) Battery seems to last hours as shown on package. Great deal.

Few local channels have apps but you are listing networks and most of them have an app on Roku. PBS, NBC and FOX all do.
You may not be able to stream live shows but you can watch them on-demand after they air. Some network apps require you to log-in with your cable provider for full access but if you don't have one you can watch network shows on a one week delay or other restrictions.

and "Crowded". FOX is good for "The Simpsons" since I am rarely home on a Sunday night. Visit the Roku page for details about network apps.

WILL ROKU 3 WORK ON ANY TV
I HAVE A NEW FLAT SCREEN TV BUT DO NOT HAVE FIOS HD SERVICE.
You only need an internet connection to use your Roku 3 and an HDMI cable to connect it to your new flat screen. Older TVs may not have an HDMI port but new TVs have 2, 3 or 4.

No, you don't pay monthly for the Roku. You buy it once at Best Buy.
You only pay for any subscription services you want to add like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc...Many networks have a free app on Roku or may require a one time log-in using your cable subscription username for free access.
