Like Mechagodzilla 2, the Mechagodzilla in this movie, also called Kiryu, was created to defend the people of Japan from Godzilla himself. The military keep pronouncing the name of the mech as (Kee-oo). If you have played Godzilla Unleashed, the name would be pronounced as (Kee-ree-you). This mech is actually a metal exoskeleton that was built around the bones of the original Godzilla. So it's the new Godzilla vs the old Godzilla. Then again, this movie is a direct sequel to the original 1954 movie, ignoring everything else in-between. The acting is cheesy at some points. Extra features are NA. Audio available in both English and Japanese.

First off, there really are no special features, unless you count 5 trailers. Now when it comes to dubbing any Godzilla movie into English, the lip syncing with the audio will obviously be off. That's to be expected with different languages. Also, this is the first movie where I've seen a black hole be used as a weapon. Although, when the black hole weapon is first tested, it gives rise to the Meganulon from the Carboniferous period. Last thing i'll mention is that this one is a direct sequel to the 1954 movie, thereby ignoring all others in between.

He's back, he's green, and he's mean in the monster hit Godzilla 2000. Columbia's work on this 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer is very nice. With bold, bright colors and well saturated black levels, the transfer is nearly clear of any defects, save for a small amount of grain in a few key scenes. The soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround, both in a dubbed English soundtrack. The 5.1 mix features a very full range of effects in both the front and rear speakers, plus a thumping, bombastic bass that should give any home theater a through and rough workout. Also included on this disc is a French Dolby 2.0 soundtrack along with English and French subtitles. This monster disc includes a few extra features for Godzilla 2000 fans, including a very enlightening audio commentary by Michael Schlesinger, film editor Michael Mahoney, and sound editor Darren Paskal, discussing the American version of this film (compared to the original Japanese version). Also included on this disc is a short two-minute behind-the-scenes look at the film, a few talent biographies, and theatrical trailers for the Godzilla remake and Anaconda.

Normally with reboots and remakes with Godzilla, he was always solo, but this time, he fought another monster. An interesting monster at that. According to Cinemassacre's Monster Madness, this was a counter to Godzilla 1998(Zilla), and it was worth it. The movie is just awesome. I'm still working on getting 9 more movies. It's a pity that the Japanese audio wasn't included. I usually listen to the english audio, but hey, why not include the original language as well.

Unlike the Nyko charge station, which I own, I bought this one for a friend, this one charges controllers to full capacity in a matter of minutes. My friend didn't start using it on their own time, I set it up to charge their controllers when they were at my place. It's very simple to charge a controller. Just place the controller snugly into one of the slots. If it's placed properly, a screen at the bottom with display an outline of the controller with and a red square dot just below and to the left of the outline to show that it's charging. When the battery is fully charged, a green square dot will be displayed just below and to the right of the outline.

These glasses are more preferable to experience better depth perception than passive 3D glasses. It only takes a few minutes to finish charging. The battery life may only be a couple hours, but that is to be expected for batteries of this size, so no complaints there. Besides, it's easy to recharge them whether you are using them or not. Just plug the glasses into a 3D Blu Ray player or TV via USB and let the electricity that flows from the TV or Blu Ray device do the rest. When the glasses are charging, a little light toward the back of the right ear piece will repeatedly blink red. That little light will blink green when the glasses are fully charged. When the glasses are off, simply hold the power button for a couple seconds to turn it on. To sync the glasses with a Samsung 3D TV, hold down the power button until the green and red blinking lights alternate. Let go of the power button and the glasses will do the rest, and then a notice will appear on the TV when the glasses are connected. The arms are flexible. The rubber nose piece fits comfortably. The headset will turn off by itself if it's not used for an extended period. They are effective glasses.

For a while, I didn't really have the desire to own anything 3D. Before I say what changed my mind, I need to mention something kind of unrelated. A while back, I discovered that I am more of a fan of the Marvel Universe over DC Universe, so I went out to buy the Marvel movies that led up to the 2012 Avengers movie that I didn't already own. I saw a 3D version of Thor sitting on the shelves and thought I could make use of it someday. I finally got a Sony 3D Blu Ray player and this 3D TV several months later. When I tried out 3D Thor, the 3D quality was much greater than that of what I received in the cinemas. This was because I was using active 3D devices instead of the passive technology that standard movie theaters use. When I go to see a movie in 3D in a theater, the depth perception isn't all that impressive. I can see how spaced out some things are, but this active 3D TV and the active Samsung glasses I use give a much greater depth perception for what I watch. It's much better quality. Internet connectivity for the TV on its own isn't relevant to me for its use. I just use it to watch movies on DVD/Blu Ray, watch TV shows on DVD/Blu Ray, and use game consoles.

Excellent for HDMI use

In the past, I have had to use a standard AV cable in conjunction with my EarForce X12 headset. When I used a HDMI cord instead, the noise from the TV was sometimes a distraction to others doing something in the same room. There are two TVs in what we call the "Family room". One TV is used for my seventh and eighth generation game consoles, the other is for cable use. Both TVs have Blu Ray players hooked up, but since I don't own a PS3, nor are there enough games for me to want a PS3, using an EarForce headset won't work for me there. I already own a Wii as well, and I'm not willing to buy any more than 2 consoles of any gaming generation. When I learned about this adapter, it was my opportunity to have high quality output from an HDMI cord while using my EarForce X12 headset so that audio directly from the TV while playing my 360 would not be a problem for anyone else in the room. It's also a very simple setup. Just plug the red and white audio plugs from a Turtle Beach headset into the adapter, then plug the adapter into the console where the AV cable would otherwise be plugged in.
