An awesome portable scanner

Before i begin my review, i wanted to mention that this is a review for the EPSON ES-300W Wireless Portable Duplex Document Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and write an honest review.
The product quality is very good, the scanner is very handy and easy to operate. The initial installation and setup was a charm, it did not take me more than a few mins to setup the EPSON scanner. The instructions were well documented.
Before i go into some of the areas of concern that i have noticed, i wanted to highlight the positive aspects of the product.
Connecting the EPSON scanner to my WiFi was a quick process, the WPS functionality came in handy.
Once setup was done, i tested scanning with multiple stacks of papers (single sided and duplex), if you have setup the smart phone app, the scanning of the documents is very quick and i love that.
The scanner is able to run on its own battery - which is a plus, i can easily disconnect the power cable from the scanner and move it around when i need to do my scanning (and i scan receipts/bills a lot).
Some things that i see lacking are, the EPSON app for the smart phone works, but it is missing a lot of functionality, in my opinion. There is a lot that can be added, in terms of features like being able to setup a workflow in the scanner app, when you have scanned, you want to save the images in the scanner app AND the camera roll (i use iPhone), or save the image to camera roll and email it to predefined email receipients or upload it to cloud drives like OneDrive or Google Drive or BOX etc. I must clarify that in its current implementation there is a way to email, upload the image to cloud, but what is esentially missing is a workflow that you can set, which automatically does what you have set up. There are other apps that i have used, which support such funcationality. To make this product truly an exceptional experinece, i think ESPON needs to incorporate this in their app.
OCR should have been an inbuilt functionality, that is missing.
If you are using the desktop app, there is advanced functionality which allows the user to set advanced options, like set paper skew (but for that you have to have a setting lower than 600 dpi - even if you have set 600 dpi you cannot set Correct Document Skew, it gives an error. If you drop the setting to 400 dpi, it works. I think there is some work reuqired there.
Setting your predefined File name does not allow a user selectable naming, but its not a biggie.
The over all weight of the scanner is slightly on the heavy side, so you cannot carry it with you if you are going on a business trip, but that is fine for my use case.
i will give it a solid 4 star rating. EPSON has done a remarkable job with this scanner and i will most definitely recommend it to buyers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

TP Link AD7200 WiFi Router -exceptional
on September 7, 2016

I have used many TP Link product (present and in past). Generally, I have had very good experience of using TP Link devices. With this device, I must admit TP Link has done a remarkably good job. Till I began testing and using the AD7200 router, I was using the AC5400 WiFi router and it did a pretty good job as well. But, with the AD7200 I had not had any operational issues. The only issue was when I tried to do an online firmware upgrade, the upgrade went thru properly, but the mode did not boot, and I had to manually reboot it. Other than this slight hiccup I love this router.
My main issue with wifi routers has been that if you are transferring a lot of data within your local network, after a certain amount of data has been moved, the router stops responding and you have to reboot the modem, which introduces network outage for the duration when the reboot is happening and it is just a nuisance. Now I use a lot of video streaming internally among my devices and with this router I have not had any issues so far.
The AD7200 is an 802.11AD router with a lot of advance features, at the time of writing this review there are not many devices available that support 802.11AD; since I did not have an AD compatible device, I was not able to test the 60Hz band. The setup of the router is extremely easy, the device powered on immediately and for all the IOS users, with TP link devices, the IOS Teather app a very convenient application that can be used to manage TP Link devices and be able to review the status of all the TP Link compatible devices on your network.
The AD7200 router has many great features, like:
1. The range and reach of the Wi-Fi signal (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands) is exceptionally good. I don’t see any areas in my home where I find low signals. The eight antennas on the WiFi router provide a full signal from every corner of the house. I even get medium level signals outdoors, and in order to boost the signals I have a TP Link range extender installed. So, now I get full signals both indoors and outdoors. How cool is that.
2. It also had USB ports, I have attached an external hard drive to one of the USB 3.0 ports to provide shared storage to the devices connected on the network. The transfer speed is pretty fast as well.
3. A small feature, but there is an option to turn off the LED lights on the router, in case at night you do not want the entire main area lighted with blue lighting, you can switch them off 
4. There are 4 ports for Ethernet connectivity on the back of the WiFi router, if you have devices that you want to connect via hardwire, this comes in particularly useful.
5. As part of my stress testing, I connected some 30 devices (various devices in my household, both wifi as well as hardwired) and I must say, I was impressed, I did not see any performance issues on the AD7200 WiFi router.
6. There are many other features like VPN connectivity, parental controls, QoS, throttling, port forwarding etc. that come in handy if you are an advanced level user.
My general feedback is that the TP Link AD7200 WiFI router is an exceptional and feature rich device with a lot of capabilities not found on other routers. I will highly recommend users who are looking for a reliance router. Good job TP Link.
I will gladly give 5 star rating to this product.
My review is based on a free product received from TP-LINK as part of the review program.
