I have 3 dogs that live in my home and we are extremely clean people. We shampoo our living room at least once a week, every week. We purchased this steam cleaner in February and it worked great for 2 months. Just after the 90 day return policy at best buy was up it, it broke. The machine stopped spraying water. Due to the fact that I had owned 3 Bisse'ls prior to this one I decided that I didn't need the insurance this time because it had been a waste of money on my previous 3 machines. This was a huge mistake on my part. So I was at the mercy of Bissel's manufacturer's warranty to get me running again. Spent an hour on the phone troubleshooting before the recommended me to a repair center. I took it to the repair center (1 hour round trip) the next day and didn't see my cleaner for 2 weeks. I picked up the steam cleaner (1 hour round trip) and took it home. Once I got home I discovered that it was still doing the same thing. Took it back to the repair center (1 hour round trip) and they Bissel decided to replace it. One week later I picked up a brand new one from the store (1 hour round trip). We took it home and used it once. Worked perfectly. Plugged it in a week later and it wouldn't spray just like its predecessor. I just took it back to the repair shop this week (1 hour round trip). I'm expecting to be steam cleaner free for at least another month before I get another one. I seriously doubt that the 3rd time will be a charm.
Bottom line... I wouldn't recommend this machine to anyone. Two in a row broke within a month. Pick another model. By the time this is all said and done I will have spent 6 hours driving and 2 hours on the phone with support. With the amount of money I make; I could have made enough money to purchased 4 more machines if I had that time back. I am extremely disappointed in the product and Bissel's support procedures. They have lost me as a customer.
